Emmett Dorough hired out with Cotton Belt in 1941. He later became Yardmaster and retired in 1976 and passed away on December 7, 1987. Emmett was always known as "Bigun" and he was indeed a BIG man. But as with many BIG men, he was a very happy, fun loving man who got along great with the switchmen in the yard.
