DAY 2 : Amman - Jerash - Damascus
Early morning drive to Jerash (the ancient Gerosa Roman city of the Decapolis) to visit the numerous monuments and excavation sites continue to Damascus for dinner & overnight at the hotel.
DAY 3 : Damascus full day
Full day sightseeing program in Damascus: Museum Tekkiye Suleimanieh Mosque, Azem Palace, Mosque of the Omayades, Adiliya (Tomb of Saladin), Maristan Nuri, Window of St. Paul, Mt Qasion. Dinner & overnight at the hotel in Damascus.
DAY 4 : Damascus - Mlula - Krak Des Chevaliers - Tartus - Ugarit - Lattakia
Visit the Monastery of St George in Malula then Krak Des Chevaliers and Al Marqab Castle. Drive to visit Ugarit then continue to Lattakia for dinner & overnight.
DAY 5 : Salah El Deen Castle, Lattakia, St Simeon, Aleppo
Visit Salah El Deen Castle, St Simeon, Monastery and its surroundings (dead Cities), Qalb Lozeh & continue to Aloppo for dinner & overnight.
DAY 6 : Aleppo
Visit the Big Mosque, The Citadel, The National Museum, the Old City with its Souks & Khans (School of Halawiya, Al Fardos School, Bimaristan, etc.). Rturn to hotel for dinner & overnight.
DAY 7 : Aleppo, Palmyra
Visit Resafa, Halabiya, Zalabiya, Deir ezzore then head to Palmyra for dinner & overnight.
DAY 8 : Palmyra - Damascus
Visit the museum, the Temple of Ba'al, the Tower Tombs and the underground Tombs. Drive back to Damascus for dinner & overnight.
DAY
9 : Damascus - Bosra - Amman
On the way Back to
amman visit shahba, Sweida & Bosra (The Theater, Streets of Colonnades,
Ruins of the Thermes, Sanctuary of Kabyle, Cathedral Basilica). Dinner
& overnight in Amman.
DAY
10 : Amman- Dead Sea
Morning visit of
Amman. In the afternoon visit the Dead Sea (The lowest point on earth)
then return to Amman for dinner & overnight.
DAY
11 : Madaba - Mount Nebo -Karak - Petra
Early morning start
towards Madaba, visit of christian churches with unique mosaics from the
6th century, then visit of Mount Nebo Chapel ( believed the cemetery of
Moses) and last visit Siyagha church reputed for its mosaics.
then take the Kings'
Highway to Karak and visit the Crusader's Fortress famous for the crusades
against Saladin, then continue to Petra for dinner & overnight.
DAY
12 : Petra full day
Early morning start
to visit Petra on horseback. Starting towards the Siq, visit El Khazneh,
the Theater, Tombs of the Kings, High Place of Sacrifice, Qasr El Bint
and the Monastery (EL DEIR). Dinner & overnight at the hotel.
DAY
13 : Petra - Wadi Rum - Aqaba
Drive to Wadi Rum,
enjoy an excursion in the desert and visit the Nabatean Facade famous for
its ancient inscription and contemplate the desert made famous by lawrence
of Arabia. Continue to Aqaba for dinner & overnight at the hotel.
DAY
8 : Aqaba - Departure via Amman
Departure to Aqaba
airport and take a flight to Amman Queen Alia International Airport to
return home.
