	Holly Brenston A.K.A "Folly" This 20-year-old woman is best described as a "glamour queen" and "tomboy" wrapped in one. She is a tall, beautiful blonde who has a new look almost everyday. With adventure as her middle name, Holly has no fear having broken almost every bone in her body. She is an athletic diva with talents ranging from snowboarding to rock climbing. She comes from the belief that life is an education and that success does not necessarily come from a four-year degree. Her priority is to experience the world, and live life to the fullest.
	Laterrain A.K.A "T" Laterrian is a 22-year-old natural athlete. His handsome physique has been showcased as a model for J Crew and Champion. With a smile that leaves a lasting imprint, this guy charms the ladies. Laterrian graduated from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill with a degree in Biology. Eventually, he plans to attend medical school. He has self-admitted mood swings. He has very versatile interests ranging from partying to poetry.
	Kathryn A.K.A "Playgirl" Blessed with beauty and charm, this 21-year-old from Oregon grew up on a cherry farm. Kathryn is about to graduate Cornell University and enter the corporate business world. Now her plans are on hold as she begins an adventurous journey on the road. She loves to party, have a good time and meet men. Rarely will she go for two weeks without a boyfriend. Recently, she began seeing a guy named Reed, who is very different from guys she's dated in the past. According to Kathryn, "he doesn't need a lot of fixing."
	James Orlando James is a 20-year-old All-American rugby player of Italian and Irish descent. Currently a sophomore at UC-Berkeley, James is in a fraternity and on the rugby team. From a small town in Northern California, he maintains a healthy balance between partying and academia. With a magnetic personality, this guy is a heartthrob with a stubborn streak. He's devoted to his family and his Catholic faith.
	M'Saada Nia Msaada is a 22-year-old tap dancing queen from South Central Los Angeles. The 4' 11" firecracker attends community college and plans to open a dance school in her neighborhood. Her dream is to be an accomplished performer and use her skills to contribute to the creative development of inner city kids. Msaada is proud of her heritage and neighborhood, yet she is a self-proclaimed "non-ghetto" black girl. Msaada is deeply devoted to her family and her faith. Her father, an ordained preacher, is her hero. After her parents' divorce, he raised Msaada and her siblings. Romantically, she is in love with her boyfriend of two years, Vincent, a magician in France.
	Theo Vanternkowski A.K.A "Bumpkin" This 19-year-old guy has a little bit country and a little bit rock and roll in his soul. He is studying at the University of Louisiana and dreams of being a children's author/magazine editor. He also dreams of becoming a famous inventor. Raised in Louisiana, Theo is an adorable southerner who speaks a language all of his own. He has the curiosity and imagination of a two-year-old but has all the cunning of a natural instigator. His charm and wit captivate people. Nicknamed "Dirty Bird", one of his greatest faults lies in the fact that he is a self-professed slob.

	Yes Duffy A.K.A "Smooth Operator" Half-Italian, half-Thai, and half-Irish Yes was raised by his mother, who was a stripper in the San Francisco area, and later formed a workers' alliance for strippers. His passion is graffiti art. Yes, 19 years old, has a tendency to question authority, but respects private property. He also plays saxophone in a ska-band. Fiercely independent, he has trouble relying upon others. He currently has a girlfriend, but she plans to leave to study abroad in Spain.
	Pua Medeiros A.K.A "Marlene" Part native Hawaiin, Pua is a spunky 18 year old from Hilo, HI. She left high school, got her GED and enrolled in community college where she wants to study environmental science. She is interested in everything and her friends describe her as a "ball of energy." Pua has a volatile relationship with her boyfriend Johnny, uncertain about how the trip will affect the relationship. Eager to travel, Pua is especially interested in visiting India. Pua is extremely knowledgeable about traditional Hawaiian culture, and is eager to share her views.
	Shawn Sealy Shawn, 18 grew up in Boston, MA but attended Lexington Public Schools through a program called Metco which allows inner-city kids to go to suburban schools. Shawn is very talented. He has a beautiful singing voice and he's rather athletic. In high school he could be seen in such shows as "Hair," "Westside Story," and "Animal Crackers." He was the captain of the football team his senior year. He was also in a vocal jazz singing group called "Shaken Not Stirred." Presently he attends University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill which he enjoys very much. A little tid-bit is that Shawn has never tried a cigarette and the only thing he's ever been addicted to is children's Tylenol. Shawn has a sister (LaTrisha) who is a sophomore in highschool.
	Veronica Portillo A.K.A "Clueless" A beautiful and extremely sensual 21 year old from Tustin Ranch, CA, Veronica has been described by friends as a tough person to get to know, but a great and true friend once she lets you inside. Her friends are quick to point out her flaws: she can be convincing, manipulative, and brutally honest to the point of hurting others' feelings. She has a stormy relationship with her mother, who acts more as a peer than a parent. She also has issues with her brother, who had a child and then split with his wife. The child is now cared for by Veronica's mother. She, like Pua, is not sure how her relationship with her boyfriend Jason will be affected by the voyage.
	Paul Litwinski Born in Poland, Pawel (pron: Paul) was raised by his mother in a low-income, Brooklyn neighborhood. For three semesters, Pawel has been accepted to Semester at Sea, but each time lack of finances has kept him from sailing. As a "Road Rules" cast member, Pawel now gets his chance to take on this unique challenge. Currently studying photography at NYU, 21 year old Pawel is extremely passionate about life and is a great storyteller through his words and pictures. He says that the casting process had caused him to open up much more about his family history and other areas of his life.
	Ayanna Mackins Ayanna is a 19 year old tomboy track star at Howard University with infectious energy and humor. Ayanna's parents divorced when she was young. She grew up with her mother, whom she worships. She is extremely independent and intelligent. Ayanna's father has not played a big role in her life, perhaps as a result she has trouble trusting men in relationships.

Latin America

Abe 18, grew up living on welfare with his six other brothers and sisters. His parents divorce when he was very young which later led to his mother coming out as a lesbian. Abe has always had a interest in computers. He even dropped out of highschool to work at a internet company. However, his keen interest in computers has gotten him in trouble in the past when his brother ratted on him when he was 14 for computer related credit card fraud.	Gladys is a 20 year old half Black half Puerto Rican from Roxbury Mass. Before she came on the show, Gladys and her family had money problems which led to them loosing their house. Gladys was the first person in her family to graduate from highschool. She plans to go on to college.	Brian 23, is a waiter at a Chinese restaurant. Brian's Dad is a former marine, and his moms a stock broker.
Holly 20, is currently a junior at the university of Colorado in Bolder. After college, she plans to enroll in lawschool. Holly likes to work out. In fact, she runs seven miles every day. She is also very fluent in Spanish.	Josh is a 21 year old Texan who meditates, and plays his guita. His career goal in life is to become a photographer. Josh also has a girlfriend named Tara with a kid from a previous relationship.	Sarah 21, is from the old country (England). She was a student at the university of New Orleans for two years until she chose to teach school in the innercity. Sarah's relationship with her father hasn't been exactly the best since her parents divorced. Eventhough Sarah's father is from Mexico, she knows nothing about the culture, or her father's language (Spanish).
