Come to New Orleans Square where the Pirates of the Caribbean will shiver your timbers, and ghosts at The Haunted Mansion will tickle your ribs! Here you'll find shops offering fine perfumes and one-of-a-kind antiques, gourmet cookware, and fanciful hats.

ATTRACTIONS:
Disneyland Railroad:
Disembark at Mickey's Toontown, or travel to Tomorrowland, Main Street U.S.A. or ride round-trip.
Haunted Mansion:
A journey through a mansion filled with ghouls and ghosts.Join the 999 "happy haunts" in this frightfully funny adventure.

Not a scary attraction, but it's very entertaining, what makes the seven-minute attraction so special is the attention to, and abundance of details. I love the part of the mirrors, where you can see a ghost siting by you and I wonder if the ceiling moves up or the room goes down in the Portrait Chamber.
Pirates of the Caribbean:
A classic attraction at Disneyland, no visit to Disneyland would be complete without going to the Pirates of the Caribbean. Here you travel to a series of sets portraying a pirate raid on a Caribbean village.

Trivia:

  • This is the last attraction that Walt Disney worked on extensively himself.
  • Facial designs for the figures in the Pirates of the Caribbean were modeled after staff members at Walt Disney Imagineering.
