This is one of my favorite photo's...taken early morning not far from the city heading up highway 144 toward Timmins, Onaping Lake is it's name and hey, Onaping has a pretty great ski hill too.

Ahh...now this is close to home for me as well...I was walking down the shoreline at Providence Bay, Manitoulin Island and this took my eye, a friend told me all it needed was a boat wreck to make it perfect.

I took this picture off the shore of the Spanish River just off Highway 17 not far from the town of Spanish, just looked pretty, big smile...for a special revised look at this pic click the button below...smiling


Now this is real close to home...in fact it's the bay I saw outside my kitchen window and also where my Dad's family have had a summer camp for oh I'd say about 40 years anyway...this is only a fraction of Long Lake, it's 14 miles long and in some places up to 2 miles wide. A great retreat from the hot city in the summertime, and a fun place in the winter as well with icefishing , snowmobiling and cross country skiing. Come on over sometime and check it out! ;-)

Now I can't take credit for this pic, it's actually an architect's preview of one of Sudbury's great tourist attractions, Science North, which stands on the western shores of Beautiful Lake Ramsey and has been visited by Prince Charles...the late Princess Diana and there two son's William and Harry, who I can say had a marvelous day there. ;-)
