Japanese in
five minutes.
Let's learn Japanese in five
minutes! It's impossible? Not so much. Here's what you need to
do it. Further study may be overlearning. Don't afraid of silence
in your talking with the Japanese. Silence plays very important
role in our culture, you know.
Doomo! To say hello and show your gratitude to someone.
With this almighty phrase you can go a long way! When you are
getting a hard time of communication in Japanese, just let this
phrase work for you. Use it whenever and wherever you like.
Genki? It means 'what's up to?' and 'Are you all right?".
Use 'Genki-desu' and end it with '.' in stead of '?' to say 'I'm
fine.'
Wakarimashita. It literally means 'I agree with you'
or 'I see'. But its also means 'OK' or 'I'm hearing you'.
Naruhodo. This phrase means 'I see'. It's used
very often in Japanese. Especially in your telephone conversation,
use it as often as possible, otherwise your friend may think
you're sleeping on the other side of the line.
Daijoobu? 'Are you OK?' If you want to know your
friend is OK or not for whatever reason, just use this phrase.
That's how to show your love to your beloved friends.
Unnn... When you are struck with something unusal, or
when you don't know what to say, this is the one you have to
come up with. It's also used to say 'No' politely.
Maittanaa. When you are overwhelmed with a lot
of emotion and you don't like to show it, use it with your forced
smile.
Cafe? This is very usefull one. To go for coffee with.
To start conversation with anybody you want to kill your time
together.
To be continued...
