Day 16

Sue

On this day we were all very tired so the children stuck close to the house during the day, watching TV and eating junk food. I went to the downtown shops and spent the day browsing and totally enjoying the peace and quiet. I made a pot of chili for "tea" and treated David to some great Canadian tucker.

After tea we went for a ride to Tower Hill. The sun was setting fast and we saw large kangaroos and emus. A spectacular sight was the kangaroos silhouetted against the setting sun.
