Greenwood, South Carolina

In February of 1998, Yeep, Gulp and I traveled from Kansas City to the lovely town of Greenwood, South Carolina. I thought it was a short drive outside of Greenville, not too far from the mountains. The joke was on me. Greenwood is about one hour from any large city and at least 2 hours from any true tourist destination. It was an interesting experience--and one I would od again. The hospital and personel were friendly and kind, and I liked working there. I still laugh at the most frequently heard line, "You aren't from around here, are ya'?"
