ALBERICE
A mountain settlement situated alongside the Albericky potok creek (Alt. 678 m - 747 m). Founded around the year 1541. The largest stalagmite and stalactite area in the Krkonose.

AMBROZOVA VYHLIDKA
A lookout place on the shoulder of the Labsky dul mine, which lies on the route Labska bouda (Labe cottage)- Pancicky vodopad (A waterfall)- Vrbatova bouda (Vrbat's cottage).

ANENSKE UDOLI
A valley by the Mumlava river in the South part of Harrachov, connecting Harrachov with Novy Svet.

ANTONINOVO UDOLI
A mountain settlement 1.5 km away trom Svoboda n. Upou, community of Sejfy which was established by the prince Svarcenberk in 1662 and is situated in the lower part of the settlement.

BARTLOVA LAVKA
A community with a bridge over the Labe (The Elbe) river in Volsky dul. (A bus-stop of CSAD).

BEDRICHOV
A part of Spindleruv Mlýn. It was first mentioned in 1771 when a glass works was established there. After the cessation of production, a sawmlll was establlshed in 1787.

BILA LOUKA
A meadow enclosed by the Lucni hora and Studnicni hora peaks and the Hranicni hreben ridge.

BILA VODA
A right hand side tributary creek of the Mumlava river, which flows in in Harrachov.

BILE LABE
A left hand side tributary nver of the Labe (The Elbe) river, which has a spring on Bila louka and joins the Labe (The Elbe) river at Divci lavky.

BILY POTOK
A left hand side tributary stream of the Kotelsky potok creek, which has a spring on the Southern slope of the Lisci hora peak.

BONISCHOVY BOUDY
A group of cabins on the slopes of the Spicak peak (with the altitude of 1001 m above the sea level), North West of Cerny dul; which are also known as Benysky.

BRATROUCHOV
A mountain village 700 m above the sea level in the Southern part of the Krkonose.

BUCHAROVA CESTA
A route marked with red signs starting at Jilemnice and passing through Dolni Stepanice, Zaly, Horni Misecky, Krkonos, Labska bouda and terminating at the spring of the river Labe (The Elbe).

BURANY
A mountain settlement 498 m above the sea level in the valley by the Frantiskovsky potok creek. It is a part ol Jablonec n. Jizerou.

BYSTRICE-SEJFY
Remainders of gold mining pits.

CEDRON
A left hand side tributary stream of the Jizerka nver flowing in at Dolni Stepanice.

THE ROUTE OF CZECH - POLISH FRIENDSHIP
The route of friendship between the Czech Republic and Poland. A tourist footpath which passes through the Krkonose mountain ridge from Tvaroznik to Pomezni bouda.

CERNA BOUDA
A cottage which was founded in 1785 under the peak of the Cerna hora at the altitude of 1260 m above the sea level.

CERNA HORA
Mostly covered with forests, Cerna hora is the most massive summit of the Cesky hreben with a peak of 1260 m above the sea level. There is a funicular from Janské Lázne to the summit. The protected natural moor zone Cernohorska raselina is enclosed by Cerna hora and Svetla hora.

CERNA VODA
A small village 556 m above the sea level North of Zacler by the borderline. The village was established around the year 1790. One of the oldest pathways which probably connected Prague with Wroclaw passed through Cerna Voda.

CERNOHORSKA RASELINA
A protected natural zone consisting of the largest mountain moor territory In the Krkonose with the area of 0.6625 km2 and maximum depth of 2.5 m.

CERNY DUL
A mountain village which is located in a valley by the Cista creek at the altitude of 610 m above the sea level. The first records about the settlement's establishment originate from 1556. In 1564, the miner settlement obtained the privileges of a free mining town. The mining of precious metals in the neighbourhood of Cerny dul climaxed at the end of 16. century and the beginning of 17. century. There is a sandstone pit there at present.

CERTOVA HORA
A 1020 m high peak South of Harrachov above the valley by the Mumlava river. The mountain slope houses a ski centre equipped with ski-lifts, tracks for downhill skiing, a ski funicular and ski jumps.

CERTOVA LOUKA
A mountain meadow underneath the crest of the Stribrny hreben ridge at the altitude of 1471 m above the sea level. A mountain cottage Scharf's bouda, which was one of the oldest cottages used around the whole year, was built on its South slope around the year 1740. It was left in 1945 and has never been used again.

CERTOVA STROUHA
A right hand side tributary creek of the Bile Labe (The White Elbe) river flowing in by the cottage U Bileho Labe. The stream has a spring on Certova louka and flows through Certuv dul.

CERVENY POTOK
A right hand side tributary river of the Bile Labe (The White Elbe) river inflowing in front of Divci lavky.

CERVENY VRCH
A 961 m high hill covered with forests located by the place where the Mala Upa river joins the Upa river. The end point of the South East crest of the Snezka peak.

CESKY HREBEN
The name of the inner mountain ridge. The starting point is Plesivec (1121 m), and the ridge continues by the peaks Lysa hora (1344 m), Kotel (1435 m), Krkonos (1411 m), Kozi hrbety (1390 m), Lucni hora (1547 m) and Studnicni hora (1554 m).

CISTA VODA
Lone cottages on the South East slope of the Serin peak 750 m above the sea level.

DIVCI KAMENY
Two groups of granite slopes on the borderline ridge 1414 m above the sea level.

DIXUV KRIZ
(Dix's cross) Locates the place where a watchman from Obri bouda died during an avalanche. (A pit of the Snezka peak).

DLOUHY DUL
A valley of a glacier origin underneath Vyrovka at the altitude of 1350 m with the end point at Sv. Petr (750 m above the sea). Sv. Petr is a part of Spindleruv Mlýn.

DOLNI LYSECINY
A tiny mountain village located at a valley by the Lysecsky potok creek.

DOLNI MISECKY
A mountain settlement 850 m above the sea, which belongs to Vitkovice.

DOLSKY POTOK
A left hand side tributary creek of the Labe (The Elbe) river, formerly called Svatopetrsky potok. Its spring is located underneath the Vyrovka peak in Dlouhy dul.

DVORACKY
A mountain cottage 1125 m above the sea on the South slope of the Lysa hora peak.

DVORSKY LES
A protected natural forest environment on the crest of the Rychory peak 1033 m above the sea.

EXCURSNI CESTA (Excursion route)
A route marked by green signs which connects Rezek with Dvoracky.

FRANTISKOV
A small mountain village located at the valley by the Frantiskansky potok river at the altitude of 1350 m, 3.5 km trom Rokytnice nad Jizerou in the South East direction.

FRIESOVY BOUDY
Lone mountain cabines underneath the peak Svetly vrch 1350 m above the sea.

HANAPETROVA PASEKA
Scattered mountain cabines situated at the altitude of 850 m on the right hand side bank of the Kotelsky potok creek approx. 3 km away from Dolni dvur in the North direction.

HANCOVA MOHYLA
A small burial mound on the spot where the ski champion Bohumil Hanc died on 24. 3. 1913. The burial mound lies on the tourist pathway marked by red signs leading from Labska bouda to Vrbatova bouda.

HARRACHOV
A town situated in the West-most part of the Krkonose 688 m above the sea level in the valley by the Mumlava river. The town was established as the Dörfl village in 17. century and it was later named after the Harrach aristocratic family. After W.W. II, the settlements Mytiny, Novy Svet and Ryzoviste were integrated into the town. The town has become an internationally renown centre of glass manufacture, skiing and tourism.

HARRACHOVA CESTA
A tourist pathway marked by red and blue signs from Harrachov to Labska bouda.

HARRACHOVY KAMENY
Distinct granite blocks on the shoulder of the Velka kotelni jama precipice 1421 m above the sea level.

HERLIKOVICE
A mountain village underneath Predni Zaly in the Labe (The Elbe) river valley.

HORNI MARSOV
A mountain centre located by the confluence of Upa and Lysecinsky potok at the altitude of 572 m. The communities of Temny dul, Stara hora, Horni Olberice and Dolni Olberice, Horni Lyseciny and Dolni Lyseciny, Suchy dul, Krausovy Boudy also belong to this centre.

HORNI MISECKY
An important skiing centre situated underneath the ridge of the Krokonose and Zlate navrsi at the altitude of 1100 m.

HORENI DOMKY
Lone mountain cottages for visitor accommodation on the slopes of the Lysa Hora peak above the Cerny potok river valley, which belong to Rokytnice nad Jizerou.

HOSTINNE
An industrial town with about 500 inhabitants. One of the oldest towns in the lower Krkonose surroundings area, which was established at the times of the reign of Premysl Otakar II. around the year 1270. It was originally called Arnau and the name was changed to Hostinny later on. There is a Renaissance-style town hall at the town square and a an exhibition of antique-style sculptures.

HRABACOV
A village situated in the valley by the Jizerka river, 1.5 km away from Jilemnice.

HRANICNI HREBEN
The main ridge of the Krkonose mountaln range which is concurrently a borderline between the Czech Republic and Poland. The starting point of the ridge is at Novosvetske sedlo and the ending point is a mountain saddle by Pomezni boudy in the East.

HRNCIRSKE BOUDY
Lone mountain cabins situated on a meadow area South of Pec pod Snezkou at the altitude of 1059 m.

HRIBECI BOUDY
A group of cottages located on a mountain meadow above the left hand side bank of the Klinovy potok creek.

JABLONEC NAD JIZEROU
A town situated in the valley by the Jizera river in the West part of the Krkonose. It was first mentioned in records from 1398.

JANSKÉ LÁZNE
A mountain spa town set on the slope of the Cerna hora peak 630 m above the sea level. The spa was founded by Jan Adolf Schwarzenberg in 1677. There are 30 springs (radioactive, mineral, thermal) in the spa region at present. There is a funicular from Janské Lázne to the peak of Cerna hora.

JELENI DUL
Also known as Lvi dul and Tichy dul. An area covered mostly with forests located at the altitude trom 740 m to 1400 m above the sea level.

JILEMNICE
A town in the Western lower part of the Krkonose. It was established as a town in the beginning of 14. century. The town belonged to the Castle of Stepanice estate. Jilemnice was burnt down by Swedish armies in 1646. A boom of weaving and linen production took place at the end of 18. century.

KLASTERKA
Lone mountain cabins (Zvonicka and Klasterka) on the South slope of Plan.

KLINOVE BOUDY
Lone mountain cabins situated on the West slope of Zadni planina, which were established in 1676.

KNEZICE
A small mountain village 688 m above the sea located under the Sovinec hill.

KOTEL
Formerly called Kokrhac, a 1435 m high peak of the Cesky hreben mountain ridge.

KOTELNi JAMY
The area was declared a national protected natural environment of the area of 1.01 km2, and is currently a part of the first protected natural zone Prameny Labe. Kotelni jamy consist of glacier ravines of Velka kotelni jama and Mala kotelni jama. There is a richness of rare flora in the area.

KOZELSKY HREBEN
A gorge area covered with forests. The highest peak of the area is Cihadlo 1220 m above the sea. A part of the first protected natural zone "V bazinkach" which is located on the East slope.

KOZI HRBETY
A steep granite and silica mountain ridge reaching the heights from 1321 m up to 1422 m, which divides the valley of the Bile Labe (The White Elbe) river from the Sv. Petr river valley.

KRAKONOSOVA SNIDANE
A pathway crossing in Mumlavsky dul by the confluence of Mala Mumlava river and the Velka Mumlava river underneath the Vosecka bouda cottage.

KRKONOS
An uncovered granite crest of the Cesky hreben mountain ridge inbetween Kotel and Medvedin.

KRIZLICE
A mountain village 663 m above the sea level.

THE LABE RIVER (The Elbe)
The greatest Czech river which springs from Labska louka 1386 m above the sea level. Its total length is 1154 km.

LABSKA LOUKA
A large mountain plateau, which runs parallely to the national boundary South of Violik and Sokolnik. It is a meadow with a growth of brushwood.

LABSKA PREHRADA
A dam built on the Labe (The Elbe) river in the Krausovy boudy territory between 1910 and 1913.

LABSKY PRAMEN
A symbolic spring of the Labe (The Elbe) river on Labska louka. It was consecrated by the bishop Jan of Tallenburg from Kraluv Hradec on 19. September 1684 and again by the dean V. Weber trom Vrchlabi in 1884.

LABSKY DUL
A mountain valley of a glacier origin. The first area to become a protected natural environment by the order of the Earl Harrach under the name Strma stran in 1904.

LANOV
A rural agricultural village on the South slope of the Krkonose in the valley by the Male Labe (The Small Elbe) river.

LISCI HORA
Lisci hora is situated on the division line between the Lucni hora peak and the Cerna hora peak 1363 m above the sea level. On the mountain crest, there is one of the heavily used pathways from Pec pod Snezkou to Rozcesti.

LUBOCH
A peak with a height of 1296 m covered with forests In the East part of the borderline ridge.

LUCNI BOUDA
The biggest mountain cottage in the Krkonose 1410 m above the sea level. It was built near an old trade pathway from the Czech lands to Slezia in 16. century.

LUCNI HORA
The third highest peak of the Krkonose, which reaches 1547 m.

LYSA HORA
A 1374 m hIgh peak located in the West part of the Cesky hreben ridge.

MALA MUMLAVA
A right hand side tributary river of the Velka Mumlava river which joins it at Krakonosova snidane.

MALA UPA
A mountain settlement consisting of scattered buildings situated on the banks of the Mala Upa river 900 m above the sea level.

MALY STAW
A lake of a glacier ongin called "A Small Pond" in Czech, which is located on the Polish side of the Krkonose 1183 m above the sea level. A spring-place of the Lomnice river.

MEDVEDIN
A 1235 m high peak covered with forests in the Cesky hreben ridge. The termination point of the funicular trom Spindleruv Mlýn to Medvedin, and the starting poInt 01 the route from Spindleruv Mlýn to Pramen Labe (The Elbe Spring-Place).

MLADE BUKY
A village in the lower Krkonose area in the Upa river valley by the main road from Trutnov to Pec pod Snezkou.

MODRY DUL
Lone mountain cabins on a meadow territory situated underneath the Studnicni hora peak 1000 m above the sea.

MUZSKE KAMENY
A 10 m high rock block, which is a part of the borderline ridge at the altitude of 1416 m.

NA ROVINCE
A mountain saddle located at the Predni Zaly peak division line in the Krkonose 822 m above the sea. An important crossing of the tourist routes.

NOVOSVETSKE SEDLO
A mountain saddle dividing the Krkonose from the Jizerske hory mountain range at the altitude of 870 m also known as Novosvetsky prusmyk. A national borderline crosslng.

NOVY SVET
It was orginally an independent glass-manufacturing settlement established at the end of 17. century which has become a part of Harrachov.

OBRI DUL
A valley of a glacier origin with the area of 3.2525 km2, which is part of the protected natural zone Prameny Upy (The Springs of Upa).

PANCAVSKA LOUKA
A meadow with a moor territory with the area of 0.873 km2 at the top part, which runs between Kotel and Labska louka. The meadow IS a spring place of the Pancavsky potok creek (Pancice), which falls over a shoulder of Labsky dul and thus forms the Pancavsky vodopad waterfall which is 250 m in length.

PASEKY NAD JIZEROU
A mountain village situated on the South East slopes of the Prichovicky hreben ridge 675 m above the sea level. It is a part of Rokytnice nad Jizerou.

PEC POD SNEZKOU
A skiing and tourist centre set in the East part of the Krkonose in the Upa river valley and the Zeleny potok and Lucni potok creek valleys. The first records originate from 1534 when an extensive mining took place in the Obri dul pit. The mining works were ended in 1876. The boom of tourism and skiing encouraged the conctruction of a funicular to Snezka and the installation of many skilifts.

PILAROVO UDOLI
A valley by the Mumlava river between Harrachov and the confluence site of the rivers Mumlava and Jizera.

PLAN
A wide ridge between Predni planina and Stoh.

POLEDNI KAMENY
A granite rock formation situated by The Route of Friendship Between the Czech Republic and Poland on the North slope of the Stribrny hreben ridge.

POMEZNI BOUDY
A group of mountain cottages which were established around the year 1634 by a national borderline crossing with Poland at the altitude of 1050 m.

PORTASOVY BOUDY
A group of mountain cottages situated on the slopes of the crest Snezka-Cerveny vrch at the height of 1050 m which was formerly called Hofferovy boudy. The upper stop of the funicular from Velka Upa to Portasovy boudy.

PREDNI PLANINA
A 1196 high peak situated above Splndleruv Mlýn. There is a funicular leading to the top of the peak trom the town and also ski lifts trom a tourist and competition centre, which is placed at the ski-stadium Svaty Petr.

PREDNI ZALY
A 1019 m high peak at the mountain crest Krkonos-Predni Zaly. A 18 m high watchtower was built on the top of the peak in 1892.

PTACI KAMEN
A granite rock formation situated by the route from Martinovka to Petrova bouda 1310 m above the sea.

RENNERUV KRIZ
A cross located by the route trom Lucni bouda to the mountain saddle of Lucni hora. The cross is a silent reminder of the death of the owner of the Lucni bouda mountain cottage Jakub Renner, who died during a snow storm on 11. April 1868.

REZEK
Lone mountain cottages and restaurants located underneath the Vlci hreben ridge by the road leading trom Rokytnice nad Jizerou to Vitkovice.

ROKYTNICE NAD JIZEROU
A small town in the West of the Krkonose mountain range. It is situated in the valley of the Cerny potok and Hufsky potok creeks and on the hillsides of the mountains nearby. The first record of the town originates from 1562. This is the year when the production of glass began in the local glass works, which ceased to produce in 1599. Beginning with 16. century mining of gold, copper and lead took place until the end of 17. century and the beginning of 18. century. A manual textile production began to develop in 18. century.

TRUTNOV
A district administration town, which is the centre of the area in the East of the lower Krkonose surroundings. A chateau, formerly a castle, which currently houses The Museum of The Lower Krkonose Surroundings Area. A four-sided town square with Renaissance and Baroque styled mansions, a statue of Krakonos (the patron of the Krkonose), a Baroque column of The Holy Trinity. A Baroque-style church.

VRCHLABI
A town in the lower Krkonose surroundings. A chateau and a monastery which is currently a home of the Natural Science Museum of the Krkonose. The administration centre of KRNAP (The National Park of The Krkonose) is located in the chateau garden. Houses with a decoration framework which house the information centre and the exhibition of KRNAP. The church of Saint Vavrinec in a Pseudo-Gothic style and a Baroque monastery church.

ROZCESTI
An important crossing of routes for tourists between the Vyrovka peak and the Lisci hora peak 1250 m above the sea level. Snacks and drinks available in the cottage Chalupa na Rozcesti.

RUDNiK AND RUDNA ROKLE
A rocky spur and trough on the South East slope of the Snezka peak. The Rudna rokle precipice was formed by erosion of the Rudny potok creek.

RUZENCINA ZAHRADKA
A part of a mountain slope meadow on the North slope of the Kotel peak. The area is enclosed by a low stone mound placed in a geometric order. The origin has not yet been revealed.

RUZOVA HORA
A 1390 m high mountain peak situated above the Obri dul mine on the crest running from the Snezka peak to the Cerveny vrch peak.

RYCHORSKA BOUDA
A former mountain cottage situated in Rychory 1022 m above the sea level. It serves as a KRNAP (The National Park of The Krkonose) office at present.

RYZOVISTE
A mountain community originally called Seifenbach, which is currently a part of Harrachov. Situated under the Certova hora peak. The community was one of the oldest mining communities in the Krkonose. There is still some phenorrit mining taking place in a pit there.

SCHUSTLEROVA ZAHRADKA
The North part of the Pancavska rokle ravine at the end of Labsky dul. It obtained its name after Frantisek Schustler, who was famous for his knowledge on the flora of the Krkonose. He designed The National Park of The Krkonose already in his study from 1923.

SNEZKA
The highest peak in the Krkonose mountain range with the altitude of 1602 m above the sea level. On the top of the peak, there are two cottages Ceska bouda and Polska bouda and a seat cableway from Pec pod Snezkou. The body of the peak consists of granite and soft granite. The North mountain slopes run steeply downhill towards a valley by the Lomnicka river on the Polish part of the mountain range and the South slopes towards the Obri dul valley. In the West, there are moderate slopes leading towards the Upska raselina peat boglands plateau and in the East towards the Obri hreben mountain ridge.

SNEZNE JAMY
A protected natural area situated in the Polish part of the Krkonose. The Velka jama and the Mala jama are peaks of a glacial origin with steep granite slopes of up to 200 m in height. There are glaclal lakes at the bottom of the troughs of the glacial peaks.

STARA BUCHAROVA CESTA
A route for tourist marked by red signs running over a slope of the Kozi hrbety from Svaty Petr to the saddle of the Kozi hrbety crests. It was named after the keen promoter of tourism J. Buchar.

STRIBRNY HRBET
A part of the borderline ridge between the Maly Sisak hill and the Bila louka meadow without a forest cover, which reaches 1490 m. The south slopes are the spring-places of the Certova strouha and Stribrna strouha creeks.

SVATY PETR
A part of Spindleruv Mlýn situated in a valley by the Dolsky (Svatopetrsky) potok river. It was founded in 14. century as an original mining community. Mining of silver, copper and arsenic took place in the environs. The village nowadays serves as a holiday, tourist and skiing centre.

SVOBODA NAD UPOU
A small mountain town located in the Upa river valley and the Jansky potok river valley in the East part of lhe Krkonose. First records about its foundation date to 1006.

SVOROVA HORA
A 1410 m high peak located on the borderline ridge East of the Snezka peak, formerly called Cerna kupa.

SMIDOVA CESTA
A part of the Bucharova cesta tourist route marked with red signs running from Horni Misecky through Medvedin to the Krkonose.

SPINDLERUV MLÝN
A mountain centre situated in the Labe (The Elbe) river valley 714 - 850 m above the sea. The community settlements Svaty Petr, Bedrichov, Labska, Predni Labska and many other lone cottages on the way towards the Polish borderline belong to this centre.

SVEDSKY KRIZ
A cross located by the pathway from Predni Renerovky to Zadni Renerovky. This is the place where the Swedish king Gustav took a rest during the Swedish campaign.

TETREVI BOUDY
A group of lone mountain cottages on a meadow area positioned West of Hrncirske boudy at the altitude of 1025 m.

TRUTNOV
A district administration town, which is an important political, industrial and cultural centre of the lower Krkonose region. It was mentioned in the records from 1260 for the first time. Originally being a Slav community, it was colonised during the reign of Premysl Otakar II. and obtained the town privileges in 1360. Trutnov was a royal legacy town between 1334 and 1599. It was conquered by the Hussites in 1421. It was burnt down by Swedes in 1642 and 1647, and the habitants suffered a major plague in 18. century. On 28. March 1775, a serf uprising which took place in the region was violently suppressed here.

TVAROZNIK
A group of granite boulders located on the borderline mountain ridge North East of the Vosecka bouda cottage at the altitude of 1320 m.

U DIVCI LAVKY
The confluence place of the Labe (The Elbe) and Bile Labe (The White Elbe) rivers located above Spindleruv Mlýn.

UPSKA JAMA
The best glacial bergschrund found in the Czech part of the Krkonose. It is located at the end of the Obri dul glacial valley. The biological richness of the Krakonosova zahradka territory makes it one of the most valuable natural environments.

UPSKA RASELINA
The largest mountain peat bog in the Krkonose. It is located between the Luzni bouda cottage, the Obri dul glacial valley and the national borderline. Glacial relics found here.

VAPENICE
A 786 m high peak located above the right hand side bank of the Klinovy potok creek above Dolni dvur.

VELKA UPA
A holiday centre located in the Upa river valley in the East part of the Krkonose. A seat cableway leading to the Portasky summit. The first records of the original setllement date from 1748.

VERINA CESTA
A tourist pathway marked with red signs leading from Spindleruv Mlýn through Hromovka to Strazne.

VIOLIK
A 1472 m high characteristic spur located on the borderline ridge.

VLASSKY VRCH
A 1035 m high peak located South of the Velka Upa river between Javori dul and Vavrincuv dul.

VLCI HREBEN
A 1140 m high crest of the Lysa hora peak, which forms its South part.

VODOVODNI CESTA
The upper Vodovodni cesta pathway marked with yellow signs links Lyzarska bouda with Tetrevi bouda. The lower Vodovodni cesta pathway marked with green signs links Dvorska bouda with Prazska bouda.

VOSECKA BOUDA
A mountain cottage, which was founded before 1743, located underneath the borderline ridge in the West part of the Krkonose 1270 m above the sea level.

VRBATOVA BOUDA
A mountain cottage located on the crest of the Krkonos peak. The cottage was opened in 1964. The endpoint of the road from Jilemnice to Zlate Navrsi.

VRCHLABI
A town in the lower Krkonose region situated in the Labe (The Elbe) river valley underneath the slopes of the Predni Zaly peak and the Jankuv kopec hill. It is most likely to have been founded during the colonisation in 13. century already.

VYSOKE KOLO
A 1506 m high peak in the borderline ridge North West of Martinovka.

WIELKI STAW
A glacial lake, which is also known as Velky rybnik, located on the Polist side of the Krkonose 1225 m above the sea level.

ZRCADLOVKY
Lone mountain cottages situated on the South slopes of the Cerna hora hill 1050 m above the sea level.

ZVONKOVA CESTA
A tourist pathway marked with red signs leading from Janské Lázne to Cerna hora.

ZACLER
A mining town situated on the East slope of the Zaclersky hreben mountain ridge. There is still some coal mining going on there.

ZELEZNA HORA
A 1284 m high spur which runs from the Lucni hora peak located above the Dlouhy dul glacial valley.
