 To
know my dream, you have to see my dream. To
understand my dream, you must be able to
look beyond what you see, into a world and a time
that no longer exists. You need to look to a time
where every day was a formal party, and where it
was "cool" to dress up more than once a day. To
see the beauty of the Great Ocean Liners that are
on these pages, you have to look in yourself to
that place deep inside; where you always wanted to
be that star in the movie or that special lady
being taken to that wonderful dinner. These Great
Liners not only depict a great era in shipbuilding
and design, they also depict a type of prestige, a
class, that only really existed in this
country during that far too short time. It was
one of those "available for a limited time only"
kind of eras and it may never be again.
On
these next pages you will see this and if you look
deeper into the pictures, into the time that was
great, you will find an understanding of my dream:
to recreate this style of ship and possibly, for
the time that you are on that ship, the era that
goes with them.
