Day or week-end treks within driving distance from Manila are several mountains in Batangas province: Taal Volcano, Mt. Maculot, Mt. Batulao and Pico de Loro. In Laguna province, there are: Mt. Makiling, Siniloan Multifalls and the River Trail.
