Fairfield Plans Resorts at Durango, Colorado and Las Vegas, Nevada; Opens Resort at Sedona, Arizona

Fairfield continues its expansion westward with Fairfield Durango. Located on a 10-acre hillside site overlooking the city, Fairfield Durango will feature ski lodge-style buildings that are two, three or four stories high.

The resort's 106 units will include two premium four-bedroom units. Each unit will feature a private balcony and whirlpool bath in the master suite.

The resort, which offers a panoramic view of Colorado's San Juan Mountains, is now under construction. The buildings are distinguished by heavy timber framing, wood siding and metal roofs.

This is Fairfield's third property under development in the western U.S., which the Company has targeted for expansion. Fairfield, which owns and operates resorts in Flagstaff, Arizona, Ventura, California, and Pagosa Springs, Colorado, also is developing properties in Sedona, Arizona and Las Vegas, Nevada, which will serve as the Company's western flagship and its base for ongoing expansion throughout that region.

By late summer 2001 vacationers should be able to enjoy the dazzle of Las Vegas, Fairfield style. Fairfield Grand Desert will feature luxurious accom-modations with one 13 story and one 14 story building totaling 416 units. Amenities also will be well appointed-including a health club, an activity center and indoor and outdoor pools.

Fairfield Durango's amenities will include a clubhouse, indoor pool and exercise room, and an outdoor pool with a spa area, deck and gazebo.

Durango offers a wide range of historical, archaeological and outdoor recreational activities. Fairfield's resort is located within a mile of the Hillcrest Golf Club, within 30 minutes of Tamarron Golf Course and other popular golf courses, and within 45 minutes of the nationally known Purgatory ski area.

Mesa Verde National Park, which is open year-round and welcomes more than a half-million visitors

annually is just 35 miles away. Here, visitors can tour cliff dwellings and numerous Mesa top villages built by Ancestral Pueblo people during the millennium before Europeans arrived in North America.

Meanwhile Fairfield Sedona has opened its third building. With an elevation of 4,500 feet, Sedona is an ideal four-season resort with cool summer and mild winters.

Most villas have private balconies with stunning views of the red rocks, and many offer the luxury of a whirlpool bath in the master suite. The pool and outdoor hot tub, centered amid beautiful crimson landscaping is inviting for all to visit. This along with an exercise room, scheduled activities, and endless local activities make for a memorable visit.

Sedona lies like a gateway to the spectacular Red Rock Country of Arizona. Its magnificent and brilliant towering spires, pinnacles and mesas are a far cry from the flat desert sometimes associated with the area. This small city is also known for its high-quality art galleries and shops.
