site no.3 meant for the hardcore enthusiasts... On 18th June 1945, she hit a contact mine during a pre-invasion sweep of Burnei Bay for the Allied forces & sank... lying in 33m on a white sand bottom waiting for the experienced, cautious & patient explorer... could it be you?...

 

MV TUNG HWANG - da "Cement Wreck"...

site no. 2 "... most colorful wreck I've seen... every square inch of the superstructure is covered with orange, purple, red and pink soft corals... all this bundled with the rich marine life just creates a hypnotic scene... " described an experienced diver.... Tung Hwang went down in 1980 while carrying a cargo of cement to Brunei for the construction of a mosque... it's now the star attraction for Labuan lying beautifully at a depth of 30m...
