No, but seriously, having lived here in Japan for the best part of 6 years, I thought it was about time to share my experiences and opinions of travelling around this unusual nation with anyone who wants to listen. For anyone planning to come here on holiday, I just have one question for you. Do you really have enough money? No, seriously, Japan is about 4000% more expensive than any other part of Asia, but well worth the trip if you can afford it. You have almost no need to fret about nasty diseases/street crime etc., so you can realistically look forward to a pretty stress-free holiday, as long as you avoid rush-hour trains.
