Welcome to this turn-of-the-century town called Main Street USA. Here, you return to the days of barbershop quartets and penny arcades with a stroll through this classic land.

ATTRACTIONS:
Disneyland Railroad:
Hop aboard an old-fashioned steam train for a grand circle tour of Disneyland and a visit to the Grand Canyon and Primeval World. This is a great ride, you get great views here, There's the Grand Canyon diorama, where you can see this natural wonder from it's South Rim. And Primeval World which consists of a series of swamps, deserts, raim forests, and erupting volcanoes, you get to see a lot of dinosaurs in this diorama.This diorama was inspired by the 1940 film FANTASIA . It's better to take this ride in the hot afternoons. It makes stops in New Orleans Square, Mickey's Toontown, and Tomorrowland.

Watch Disney cartoon classics like Steamboat Willie, Plane Crazy, Mickey's Polo Team, The Moose Hunt, Traffic Trouble, and Dog Napper.

Main Street Vehicles:
They offer one way transportation between Town Square and Central Plaza:
  • Fire Engine: A Disneyland version of an early-model fire engine with a honking horn instead of a Siren.The fire engine is modeled after those that might have been found on an American Main Street around the turn of the century.
  • Horse-Drawn Streetcars: Ride a horse-drawn trolley down the turn-of-the-century thoroughfare.They are modeled after those in 19th-century photographs.Each car carries 30 passengers.
  • Horseless Carriage: Chug along in a replica of one of America's first automobiles.
  • Omnibus: This double-decker bus is my favorite Main Street Vehicle. Here you can see all of Main Street from a better view.

Penny Arcade:
The Penny Arcade has a lot of fun games, like the Uncle Sam strength test, the Kentucky Derby, the World Soccer mechanical football game, and the Electric Shock. You can also see little parts of classic movies. All these for a penny, nickel, dime or quarter.
The Walt Disney Story, featuring "Great Moments with Mr. Lincoln."
The theme of this attraction is the life and accomplishments of Walt Disney. His offices from the Burbank studio are on display, along with considerable Mickey Mouse memorabilia and a number of letters from important people. But however, the star of this attraction is the Audio-Animatronics version of Abraham Lincoln, he talks about liberty, the American spirit, the dangers facing the country, respect for law, faith in Divine Providence, and duty.
