MISSION STATEMENT
We have reached a time when knowing how to type is a necessity. In this age of high technology, however, it seems that this one main basic skill is still lacking. Although a majority of school districts have computers, many do not offer typing classes until high school, which is ironic since students are being introduced to computers in kindergarten.
Typing School’s mission is to teach young people, from second through seventh grades, good basic typing skills through emphasis on the touch typing method.
Typing School’s Touch Typing I for Young People course is designed as a first step and covers the very basics of learning the keyboard and nothing else.
Typing School has endeavored to make this course fun and remove some of the tedium associated with learning how to type.
