A little info on the name TST. How many people out there now what it means. Problably no one exept if your in the weather club. The name TST means Thunder Storm Tracker. The name itself means that we track thunderstorms, all different types of them. Ranging from sunshowers to...well Hurricanes. |

TST 1 |

This is the TST 1. It was the first one out of 3 TSTs built. It was built by both Hans and Mike in Mike's basement. It is made with pine wood and it has a wood handle with hinges. Inside it is cds used for throwing and testing the wind speed and direction of an area. Also inside is a barometer and thermometer. On the outside is a raingauge which measures the rain. This TST is built to withstand almost anything weather related. |

This is the TST 2. It is the second out of 3 built. It was built by Hans in Hans's house. It is made with compressed wood (cheap bookshelf wood)with hinges. Inside it is a thermometer and a microtaperecoreder for takeing notes on a storm. This TST is also built to withstand almost anything weather related, but it is mostly built fo the purpose of Florida's tropical storms which sometimes develop into hurricanes. |

Pictures of the TST 3 will be coming soon. But for now here is info on TST 3. TST 3 was built by Mike in his basement. It is made of the same as the TST 1, pine. It is a little different though, first off it is more square than rectangular, and secound of it is much more durable. Than the other two. Not all construction on the TST 3 has been completed but it will be done by the summer of 2003. |
