Name: Sir Austin FitzEdwards, Knight of Holne
Hurst. Earl Of Wessex, Feudal Lord of The Wessex Household. A.K.A: ChrisGroup History: "I first became involved in re-enactment in 1999 when I joined the 'Dragon Svieter', soon to become the 'Black Blades', later the 'Dragon Blades'. In February of 2001 I joined the Wessex Household, under the banner of 'The Dorset Levy', as Squire to Sir Blake, it’s Lord. I was Knighted by Sir Blake in September of that year. Since then I have worked beside various groups, until early 2005, when I decided, as Feudal Lord (the position having been passed to me by Sir Blake when he emigrated) that the Wessex Household was worthy of becoming a group in it’s own right. The rest, as they say, is History."

Name:
Lady Susan FitzEdwards, Countess of Wessex. A.K.A: Sue Group History: "I became a re-enactor in 1983 with my then husband Pete Power. We started our own group - 'The Falcons', and then started 'The Dragon Svieter', a Viking group. Pete ran the group as a whole, with myself running the 'Dragon’s Wing' - the non-combatant side of the group. The Dragon Svieter became the 'Black Blades' in May of 1999 when it merged with the 'Golden Phoenix', but due to internal politics, was re-formed as the 'Dragon Blades' in September of that year. Since my partner Chris became involved at around the time of the formation of the Black Blades early in 1999, I have followed him through his career in re-enactment, to his now position as Lord of the Wessex Household."

Matthew Ridings, First Squire to Sir Austin, Chief Squire Of The Wessex. A.K.A: SeanGroup History: . "After meeting Sir Austin and his men at Lulworth Castle, where I work, in September 2006, I decided to join them, due to my interest in their specific era. Having worked with the Household since that time, Sir Austin honoured me by making me his squire at the Andover show on the 14th July 2007.
