Other Groups

"The Cross and the Crescent is a small Ipswich-based historical re-enactment group, which depicts a group of sergeant-at-arms templar, who are making their way to the Holy Lands."....that is what is written on the front page of their website. They are also a friend to the Wessex. Take a look.

Robin of Sherwood.net is the official site of The Bowmen Of Woodland,
a group of Re-enactors who keep alive the spirit Of Robin Of Sherwood,
the 80's show about Robin Hood that starred Michael Praed and later, Jason Connery.  Why not have a look and sign their Guestbook......Tell em Squire Fredrick sent ya!

Christchurch Folk are some fine people who not only performed at the 2007 St. Faith's Fair, but they also helped organise it and invited us. Give em a click and show them some support. They're nice people.

The Call To Arms

The Re-Enactors Bible, very useful for all the upcoming shows.
Say hello to Duke Henry if you see him at a show, he likes his tea white, the number of sugars depends on his mood.

Schelmish is a German Medieval/Rock Band who like to play their music LOUD!!!!
Sir. Austin, Squire Fredrick & Squire Matthew caught these guys at Lulworth 06, and their ears were still ringing 2 days later. They have now managed to convert the rest of the Wessex.
Check out the sites below to find out more about (deep breath) Dextro, Des Demonia, Rimsbold, Luzi and the rest of the band.

The Official Site: Sorry, but it's only available in German

If You don't speak (or for that matter, read) German, try the English Fan Site, run by Strumps, who The Wessex met when the Shelms played locally.
The best place to pick up Schelmish CD's.
They are just an e-mail away.

Re-Enactment Suppliers & Other Companies

Dragons & Unicorns

Inner Sanctum

Costumers Extraordinaire, they can make you most if not any costume that you care to mention.  From simple Medieval-wear, through Lord Of the Rings & Babylon 5, to Star Trek. Have a gander at their site, and you will get the idea.

A Goth and Wicca shop just off of Poole High Street, Dorset.  Dresses, Hats, Wands, Pentagrams, Dragons, Incense, etc.  And Tarot Readings to boot.  Run by Pirate Re-enactors Fay & Dave. No website at the moment, so click their name to send them an e-mail

Martin Young is an amazingly talented Stained Glass Artist who we met a St. Faith's Fair in 2007. Not only that, but he's a dab hand with a Longbow.

Stagman Creations deals a lot in Pagan and Wicca,
but they also have a nice line in re-enactor wear. Check out their site for more details

Firefox Falconry is the company formerly known as Wessex Owls, we met them at Pendragon's Harry Day
A nice bunch of people with some beautiful birds-of-prey

Non Re-Enactment Sites

Part Of StarFleet Quadrant 2, this is what Squire Fredrick & Lady Mary do when they are not with us.  Anything Sci-Fi related, from Andromeda, through Star Trek. And they like to do Charity Events, just like us.

Sir Austin & Squire Fredrick chanced upon this duo
while on a night out.  A guy with a Guitar and a girl with a very beautiful voice that NEEDS to be heard.  Check them out.

Personal Sites

Squire Fredrick's Site - Science-Fiction, Sci-Fi Conventions & Special Makeup Effects (among other things.)
