| CORDS Are used in binding magick and cord magick. Also used in making talimans and amulets. CRYSTALS AND GEMS These items of the earth are used to represent, you guessed it Earth. Their healing properties and protection are greatly used in rituals and in amulets and talismans. CRYSTAL BALL Mainly used for scrying (see into the past, presant or future). They can also be used for pulling in energy. DECANTER Used for holding wine in a ritual FEATHERS Can be used for magick rituals and to represent the element air. HERBS Are used mainly in healing magick, though the magickal properties of a certain herb can be used for many other magickal works. HOLY WATER Holy water is used to clense and consecrate ritual tools and magickal items. Holy water is usually obtained by setting a bowl of rain water out side on the night of the full moon and saying a blessing. MAGICKAL INKS These can be home made inks usually made from herbs and resins, they come in a variety of colours and often have essential oils added. They can be used to write down things in your Grimore or Book of shadows. MAGICKAL MIRROR This is a mirror which has been clensed with herbs and holywater. It is usually used for scrying purposes. MOTAR AND PESTAL Used in herb preparation, usually to grind herbs. OILS Various types, cooking oils, essential oils etc. and are used for various magickal purposes. PENTACLE Is usually worn as ritual jewlery, but can also be placed on an altar for protection. A pentacle can also be drawn in the center of a magickal circle. POUCHES Used to keep various divination items and tools protected. SEA SALT Sometimes used to make Holy water. SMUDGE STICKS Used sometimes in initiation they are bound in herbs and grasses. Also used when clensing an area or an item. TALISMANS Man made objects or symbols that have magickal intent placed on them. TAROT CARDS (Ta-row) Cards with symbols or pictures on them used for scrying purposes. They are also used to represent an occurence in a ritual. RUNES Stones or pieces of wood with special symbols that represent something. They are usually used in scrying and in healing. WOODEN SPOON Used to mix the contence of a cauldron or chalice or bowl. PENDULUMS Used mainly in scrying and when looking for a place or an object. |
