During the winter of 1999 and 2000
Thijlbert Duvekot travelled to China in order to find out if it is possible
to make a journey on foot all trough Tibet without assistance of a support
team and motor vehicle. He therefore went to the Qinghai and Sichuan provinces.
During these trips Guangxi and Shaanxi were also visited.
