Welcome aboard!! Please allow us to introduce ourselves. My
name is Larry & my first mate is Stacey. Our crew consists
of my son Craig & Stacey's daughter Ashley (swabs), our dogs Sax
(purser), Mickey (cruise director) & Bubbles (engineer).
We started our adventures in June of 1994
where the extent of our boating knowledge consisted of a 18' Ranger on
a small lake in northern Wisconsin. Then one fine day in June of
'94, our good friend Doug introduced us to the finer points of big
boat boating. He had a 32' Carver & invited us to come out
for a weekend on the Bay. We, to say the least, fell in love
with it!! Ironically, another friend of ours that we happened to
run into that very weekend mentioned that they were selling their
other boat. So, to make a long story short, we saw, we bought,
we drove away!!
So, you may ask, what did we get ourselves
into? Well, what we saw, bought & drove away with was in
storage & had none of the necessities that are needed to do any
type of traveling. So we proceeded to head to the marine store &
buy $400 worth of life jackets, flares, VHF radio, etc. We then
ran into town & bought the best bottle of $4 champagne that we
could find, came back to the marina & christened our new boat
NO REGRETS.
The rest, as they say, is history.
