I was sitting at Burger King, eating, when it struck me. I could drink my drink but in no way could I food my food. This injustice in favor of liquid astounded me! Why did the English language feel that food was not worthy enough to be fooded? We have to EAT it.
I think food is very worthy! I love food, can’t eat without food you know. But wouldn't that sentence sound so much better if I had said "I love food, can't food without food you know." Though I admit that someone saying "I just want to drink my drink." isn't very common, the opportunity is still there.
Also you can't say "Here's a food." No! But you can say "Here's a drink." Why is it that you have to be more specific with food? If you said "Here's some food." or "Here's a french fry." it's ok. But by the way did you know that in France they don't call them french fries? I have no idea what they do called them but they don't call them that. Plus if you ever go out of country just eat the native food. They have NO idea how to make American food. I mean just how do you give someone completely FLAT coke?!?! And REALLY salty fries! And this fries are so salty your tongue shrivels up when you try to eat them. Stupid McDonalds in France...*grumble grumble*
God! English is the most retarded language! Why is it that we have no real rules? It makes no sense! Plus it discriminates! Like we always say mankind?! Also he always comes before she. Stupid language. I'm moving to Canada! Then I'll speak CANADIAN! Who's with me??
