You know I was thinking about walking on water. Most people are like "Yeah! It would be fun to walk on water! I wish I could!" when you ask them about it, but how would that work anyway? It's all well and good if your just walking on a still lake with no waves, but what about the ocean?
        Ok let's say that you standing on the ocean (like you acually standing ON the ocean) and a wave just crests over you and your engulfed. Are you left standing just a little wet? Or when the surface you were standing on disappeared (because of the wave) would you fall into the water? How would you get back up too? Would you just put your hands on the water and push your self up like getting out of a pool? OR would you be crushed by the wave because water is solid to you?
        If water is solid to you wouldn't it be really hard to STAND on it then? The water's always moving so the same bit of water you were standing on in the first place could go under making you slip! Then when you fall down, the little white caps or ruffles in the water would cut you! Wouldn't that hurt a lot?!?! And would a river be like a moving walkway where you just stand and you move in the direction of the current?
        Another thing, what if you couldn't stop standing on water and you wanted to dive into a swimming pool? Would your feet get stuck on the top when the rest of you is underwater?
        And most important of all, how would you take showers? If your standing in your shower and you turn the water on, the water goes to the bottom of the tub and goes then to the drain, and then you standing on it and it moves you forward like a current, wouldn't you smash your head against the wall? How would you wash your feet at all? If you take a bath your feet wont go under the water so you can't get them wet! You couldn't even step into the bath because your feet would float, so you'd have to put some other body part in first!!
        Just a warning but never talk about this using Jesus as an example, if you ask a theoretical question they just say "He can do whatever he wants." and TOTALY miss the point. In fact, Jesus probably knew all this before and just floated just above the water to make it look like he was walking on it. Yup yup. That's how he did it. Yup.
