Ran: Thanks Ruri. So Link you have just become the aWE’s first Web Champion. How do you feel?
Link: I feel great Ran. It was a worrying moment when I realised how close Spiderman was to the titles, but luck was on my side and I managed to pip him to the post.
Ran: Thanks Link. So CEO Ruri its…wait hold on Spiderman has just has decided to join us.
Spiderman: Hey I’m just here to congratulate the pointy-eared kid for getting in the way.
Link: Hey I didn’t do anything you weren’t trying your self. You were just unlucky.
Spiderman: You know what? I’m glad you feel that way because I want to be the first person you defend that belt against.
Link: Suits me fine web-head.
Spiderman: See you around pointy.
Spiderman and Link walk off in opposite directions Leaving Ran on her own.
Back at Ringside
CEO: You heard it. Link has been the Web Champion for a matter of minutes and has already had his first challenge.
Ruri: Looking back to tonight we still have plenty of matches left.
CEO: Optimus Prime Vs Leader-1. A match that has been long overdue in this Saturday morning cartoon fans opinion.
Ruri: Transformers and Gobots two cartoons with a similar theme and a similar line in Transforming action figures.
CEO: Everyone has got to see that there’s only room for one. Besides both are a hell of a lot more entertaining then those rubbish Rock Lords.
Ruri: The official for this match is The Incredible Hulk from Marve….
CEO: I mean wow a robot and what does it change into? A rock, how exciting you can roll it a bit…..
Ruri: Uh CEO?
CEO:…one the most stupid things I have ever seen…..
Ruri: While we wait for CEO to re-enter planet normal the Transformers theme signals Optimus Prime is making his way to the ring. The Autobot’s leader seems to be a fan favourite judging by the crowd’s reaction.
Gobots theme starts to play.
CEO: The Gobots theme is Playing but Leader-1 is nowhere to be seen.
Ruri: Maybe he’s running scared?
CEO: It wouldn’t surprise me. Optimus Prime has been involved in many hard hitting confrontations in the past with his arch nemesis Megatron, while Leader-1’s main enemy was Cykill who, if were being honest, was a bit rubbish in the big evil robot department.
Ruri: Wait! Can you hear some sort of engine Noise?
CEO: More than that I can see where it’s coming from. Leader-1 is in his jet form and is flying towards Optimus from the opened roof of the arena firing wildly with his lasers.
Ruri: That’s a cheap dirty tactic, and I would not expect it from the Leader of a heroic group.
CEO: Optimus isn’t that crazy about it himself as he jumps out of the way of the dive-bombing Leader-1.
Ruri: Leader-1 misses and is turning for another run. Optimus takes aim with his own massive laser and blasts Leader-1 sending him crashing to the outside of the arena.
CEO: Optimus isn’t stopping there as he transforms into his truck mode and speeds out of the arena.
Ruri: The Hulk follows in hot pursuit along with our camera crew.
CEO: Looks like this is turning into an unscheduled Hardcore match.
Ruri: Looking at my monitor I can see Optimus is in the parking lot he’s back in his robot form, as is Leader-1 who blindsides Optimus with a dumpster to the head.
CEO: Leader-1 is determined to win this at all costs he doesn’t care how or where.
Ruri: Optimus is staggered by that last shot. Leader-1 takes advantage with a barrage of punches.
CEO: The punishment isn’t stopping there as leader one lifts Optimus onto his back and…..WAIT HE’S TRANSFORMED AND IS TAKING OFF!
Ruri: Leader-1 is taking Optimus off of solid ground giving him overwhelming control in this match.
CEO: Optimus prime is less a robot in disguise more like a robot in the skies (chuckles).
Ruri: I’m going to wear out my phrase at this rate.
CEO: Leader-1 is diving back towards the ground.
Ruri: He’s looking to drive Optimus into the ground.
CEO: Optimus seems to be completely out of it.
Ruri: Hold on. Optimus rolls off at the last minute.
CEO: Leader-1 is caught off balance and WHAM! Smashes nose first into the concrete.
Ruri: Leader-1 is in deep trouble now as Optimus picks him up.
CEO: Optimus is holding Leader-1 in front of him as he changes back into a truck.
Ruri: He’s building up speed.
CEO: Driving towards the wall of the arena.
Ruri: The audience better Brace themselves CEO there is going to be a serious impact.
(Huge crash arena shakes)
CEO: He’s just smashed Leader-1 right through the wall into the arena.
Ruri: Optimus drags the battered form of Leader-1 into the ring.
CEO: The bell sounds to signal the start but 3 counts later it sounds to signal the end.
Ruri: The victory goes to Optimus but Leader-1 goes to the scrap yard.
CEO: Blimey! And still to come we have magic, Knight Sabers and Vampires.
Ruri: But first Ran is back stage with Naga the Serpent.
