A recent interview with Polly recorded in October is available on the BBC Radio1 website. In it she talk to
Steve Lamacq about going back in the studio, the new record and touring. Requires Realplayer

Some of this is from late November but isn't on the site yet:

Polly announced on BBC's Radio1 that she and her band would be touring with U2 in Spring 2001.
"It might be the case that I might be playing my own headline dates, as well as opening for U2 at the same time,"
"I played with them in '93 and very much enjoy doing shows with them; they're friends of mine."
U2 begin touring in March, starting in Florida having  recently released "All That You Can't Leave Behind"

It looks likely that PJ Harvey will play at next Summer's Glastonbury Festival. She has said that Michael Eavis,
the organiser had asked her to play. She also said "It does seem that we can do that. I love Glastonbury it's my
favorite festival and whenever I can do it I want to do it." Polly's also considering performing at the Reading
Festival but did admit that the sponsorship of such events by renaming them with brands is something she'll consider
before committing herself: "I do want to look into those kind of things. I do live a bit with my head in the clouds and
until people inform me of that stuff I don't know it's happening." And she adds: "I do care very much about that
and if I don't agree with it I won't do it."

The video for the single "Good Fortune" was filmed in east London near the home of Jarvis Cocker, singer
with the band Pulp. In a recent interview Jarvis said "She made her video on my street. It’s really weird, I was
watching it on the telly the other night. At the end of it she goes into a kebab shop, and that’s just around the
corner from us. It’s amazing, ‘coz I’ve not really been away, I might have bumped into her. It might have been
quite funny. Instead of going to that kebab shop I could have cooked her something a bit more healthy"
