El Caminito in the neighborhood of La Boca has very brightly painted buildings which has turned it into a tourist attraction. The city is trying to build up the areas reputation, cleaning up the surrounding blocks and extending the idea by painting more buildings. Here I caught some of the work in progress.
I took this photo in March of 2000 with my Pentax K1000 2.0/50mm
