DRUGS

Masochists and Common Sense

We at "Writing on the Stall" encourage the use of drugs only as we encourage the activity of driving a nail into your own fles. I say this because I believe a belief in not using drugs is not based on moral issues, but on our tendency to do things that benefit our well being.
It is a commonly accepted fact, even among users themselves, that an abuse of drugs is harmful. None of us can honestly assert that alcoholism, cocaine addictions, or even an excess of sleeping pills has produced favorable results. We also can't say that falling off the roof is good for you either. The fact that some things don't improve your health is self-evident.
We could make a law preventing people from hurting themselves. We could have police enforce a new policy that nobody is allowed on theri own roof. If a policeman sees what he thinks is a footprint on the roof, he could enter the hosue on probable cause and arrest the man for engaging in activities that might harm himself. The man sin't neccesarily hurt yet, but we better lock him up and keep him away from his own roof so he won't hurt himself.
Few people with common sense can deny that this policy would be cumbersome, rude, and even dangerous to our own freedom. Yet similar acts are being committed at this very moment involving drugs. Should you use drugs? That's up to you. Each of us must weigh the consequences of our own actions. If you think drugs would be harmful to you in the long run, don't do them. If you don't
care, you'll still have to deal with the bad effects of the drug along with the good. Personally, I don't plan on taking an excessive amount of drugs. I'll leave that up to the masochists.

The War On Freedom

The war on drugs is the most senseless, dangerous, widespread disaster against safety and freedom threatening us today. This "war" is a conspiracy to drain every natural right of man. The war is a lie, it is murder and it is tyranny of the highest class. I know that the kids reading this are saying "hell ya" and hte adults are saying "hell no," so let me explain my self completely.

Every argument must have a beginning, a base from which it springs. The foundation for my argument is private property. Private property is a right which free men enjoy, something slaves do not. Private property is something YOU own, not a government, not a community, and not your neighbor. Being your property, you have full right to do with it as you please. You own a car, you can samash that car with a bat, burn it and crush it if you please. I think everyone agrees with me so far, don't you?

Now I'm gong to get really nuts and assert that your body is also your own private property. This is when you die hard Bush (Willard Note: Bush Senior) fans get off because things get messy after this. Since your body is your private property, you can smash it with a bat, burn it and crush it if you please. In fact you can do ANYTHING you want with your body as long as you don't violate others' equal rights to propery. That means I can get a hooker, drink till I'm dead, shoot up Drano, and even, my comrades, smoke a big, thick joint.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," you are saying, shaking your heads, "You aren't thinking about the consequences of these bold
