The Daily Death

The place where
They make you sit
And you can walk
Down the hall
But only for 5 minutes
And don't spit
The floors
And walls
Are made with
Durable, horrible
Fabrics and tile
The classrooms
Are prisons
And the chalk boards
The punishments
They call them teachers
And each day
They drill you
And gather you
And feed you
Whatever, wherever
Whenever they may
You can't stop
But every weekend
They let you breathe
So you can survive
Another dive
Someday
They say
You can go
And stand up
In the winds
But until Then
They can
Tie you down
And work you in
But we are
All getting weaker
Sitting in blank rooms
With blank minds
How far are we moving?
When the sun isn't turning?
The bell rings
Like cold screaming
We walk ouside
We breathe the Air
Leave the groups
Leave the voices
Close the lockers
Close the doors
Turn our faces
From the graves
Running from shadows
Hiding from fears
In our homes
Safe again
Safe again
Safe again
Soft again
Once again
Chained to our
Private Lives
