Stabling
|
At the present time there are three stable blocks at the farm. Each block has its own grazing land and houses seven horses where mares and geldings share the same field. The grazing season start of on three to four acres for each block. Then, as soon as hay and haylage have been cleared off the fields, a second field becomes available from mid-June (weather permitting onwards). The two fields are then grazed until they start becoming too wet, usually mid-October. Once the Summer grazing fields are wet, each block then has a one acre paddock available over the Winter months.
