Greetings bondsmaids!!: Here is everything you need to get started
|| Home || Rules || Slave Ranks || Maps of TTO&T || Relevant Quotes ||
Here you will find anything you need to begin and further your training as a bondsmaid in the Post. You are to know this information as it will benefit you in your future here. A lot of effort has been spent in the gathering of it, so do understand the seriousness behind the knowing of it. I know it is impossible to include ever quote, or every single tidbit of information, and if there is one you find you just cannot do without run it by the High Jarl, He might just put it on there for ya. You will find in these pages a wealth of information, and everything you will need to know to make your life as tolerable as a slave's life can be on Gor. Welcome to Torvaldsland Thassa's Outpost and Trade.
"That the collar was locked did not simply mean that she could not remove it, a fact which played its important role in guaranteeing slave recognition and identification, but, perhaps even more importantly, was momentous in its significance of bondage. A brand might be concealed by clothing, even the brief garb commonly allotted a female slave, but the collar, consistently and openly, proclaimed her girl property. The collar, stressing her vulnerability as a slave, is sexually exciting to the girl who wears it, and to the men who look upon it. Perhaps that is why free women do not wear collars. The steel on her lovely throat, lost beneath her hair, glinting beneath it, contrasting so with her delicious softness, is sexually and aesthetically maddening. No girl is so beautiful, I suspect, as she who wears a Gorean slave collar."

Slave Rules
1. You may enter with an "o" and observe and ask questions in pm to members of the Home, this however, is negated with rp, or if you come in stirring trouble you will negate it as well.
2. Travelling slaves may do so here, if they have permission from their Owners, and their Owners have made this permission known to the High Jarl. Slaves that belong to Owners that are part of Homes that have trade contracts with us may travel here safely as long as their Owners have agreed to it, and any situation arriving of that slave shall be dealt with by both the Owner and the High Jarl cooperatively. This is not a sanctuary for slaves that have pissed their Owners off within our trade contracts, and the Owners may treat their slaves in the way they see fit.
3. Slaves are expected to know the rules here, and have a good grasp of the maps so that realisitic movement within the Outpost can occur.
4. All slaves owned by this Home and its members fall under the direct rules of the Home and High Jarl, and you are expected to earn your keep here. Any slaves left here by members of Homes within Our trade contracts, are expected to work and be part of this Home until such a time as they are picked up by their Owners. You are expected to abide by the rules set forth to you by your Owners, and it is the Owners responsibility to ensure that these rules and restrictions are both made known and understood.
5. Slaves of this Home are expected to be trained, and the training assessments will be held by the High Jarl or someone He has deemed worthy of performing such. Slaves are expected to sign up and use the Message Board as a tool for communication and to post work regarding training and chores, and this allows such to be completed even when their are no non-NPC Frees present to ensure such is done.
6. Progression of a slave here depends on two factors, you coming in and working to earn it, and the High Jarl beig satisfied you have demonstrated the proper skills for it to occur. If you are promoted it is because you have earned it, but status for you can change as easily as it is given, so keep this in mind. Here in the Outpost it is believed that a bondsmaid's strongpoints be taken advantage of, for example, if you are great at cooking then you will find yourself doing it, and doing it often to promote this advantage and benefit the Outpost.
7. Men here are known as Jarls, unless they have another personal preference, if they are not of this Home they may be called Masters until it is known to which they prefer, unless it is known they are from the North where Jarl is the term of preferral. Women here are known as Jarlas, unless they prefer otherwise, and if they are not of this Home they may be called Mistresses until such preference can be ascertained.
8. Slaves here are known as either bondsmaids or thralls according to gender. Greul is the staple diet of slaves here.
9. Slaves will not travel unless they are allowed by their Owners, and accompanied by a Free member escort.
10. Bondsmaids will wear kirtles, if they are lucky enough to earn such luxuries, thralls will wear work tunics.
