William Thorn, Sr., born 1675, and died November 1737 in Charles Co, Maryland ; married about 1690
in Annapolis, Maryland to Mary Gillam, daughter of John Gillam and Mary. She died in Charles County,
Maryland. William signed his will on November 22, 1737 and it was probated on December 15, 1737. So
he died some time between those two dates. William does not mention his wife, Mary, in the will so she
evidently predeceased him.
They had the following children;

  1. Absalom Thorn, died  Charles County, MD; m. Elizabeth Osborne.
  2. Elizabeth Thorn, m. Isaac Shamwell. 
  3. John Thorn, born 1698; died  June 10, 1749; m. Susannah "Ann" Graves.
  4. Mary Ann Thorn, born 1727; m. Leonard Davis.
  5. William Thorn, Jr, born 1700; m. Susannah Burch.
  6. James Thorn, born Bet. 1700 - 1710; died  January 22, 1767, Prince George's, Md 
  7. Benjamin Thorn, born 1702, Charles County, MD; died  January 09, 1766, Charles Co, Md
