Themesongs

Alright, well this is just pure silliness. I'm a music person. No two ways around it. I fall to sleep to music at night and wake up to it the next morning (or afternoon as the case may be). So naturally, sometimes I hear a song and it reminds me of a person. A single person may have more than one themesong...it all depends. Right! So here's just another page to take up space.

My Songs

Fish by Bonnie Pink. My obsession with fish personified. It's a good silly song...and I'm a good silly person at times. Plus, who can say no to a song about fish?
Bad Day by Fuel. Let's face it, anybody who knows me even slightly well knows I have more bad days than good days. They'd also know that I usually don't say why it was a bad day. Quoting the song: she said i would not understand.
When I Was A Boy by Dar Williams. To the little girl I used to be. The kind that beat up boys, played "X-Men" with them on the playground, enjoyed running around topless, and who always found refuge in a tree.
Lemon Parade by Tonic. Taty said it reminded her of me, and sure enough...the lyrics hit painfully close to home.

Kai's Songs

My Happiness by Powderfinger. 'Happiness' is an inside joke refering to the 'X/1999' movie. ^_^ hehe. I'm evil...I know.

Nam's Songs

Words Needed by Scripture. *just smiles, as if that explains everything*
Feels Like Home by Chantal Kreviazuk. Well, if you knew how much this moment means to me/and how long I've waited for your touch/and if you knew how happy you were making me/I never thought thatI'd love anyone so much. It fits like a glove.

Kitten's Songs

Don't Let Me Get Me by Pink. All the pop star references don't mean a thing...but the chorus, and doctor, doctor won't you please prescribe somethin/a day in the life of someone else? really make me think of Kitten...

Dad's Songs

You're A God by Vertical Horizon. Another inside joke. my dad always tells me he's immortal because he hasn't died yet. "What's the definition of immortal? Somebody who doesn't die. And I haven't died yet!" Then he tried to convince me that he was a god (not "the" God...but "a" god) since he was immortal. He's a silly little man...

Kathy's Songs

Give In by Sister Hazel. Kathy is my ex-aunt. She's been dragging my uncle through a messy divorce for 5 years now. This song was almost too perfect.
