Topic: Coming to Christ
Christ Side....
Monthly Thoughts....
To some it's the hardest thing they ever need to do in there life, and to others the choice was made simple. Some are forced to realize and recognize God's saving grace, due to a situation or circumstance they find themselves in. Others are trained from birth to love Christ and obey his laws and even then they struggle to fully commit to him.. Then there are those of us who are torn between the lusts of our flesh and the fruits of obeying and submitting to Jesus. Now, on the real. I know the mind games we can play with ourselves. The imaginary lines we draw up in our minds and swear we'll never cross.  Yet we find ourselves time and time again, repenting for those sins and swearing but again not to cross those lines.  Some of us even draw up new lines that we think are pleasing to God but aren't too unconfortable for us. But again those lines are broken. U wanna know why?... Because we are constantly depending on our own strength, that is not sufficient enough to withstand the onslaught of temptation the world relentlessly exposes us to. There is but 1, Uno, one who has strength enough to stretch wide and open, to save us from ourselves and yet loves us for who we are but too much to leave us that way. Only one who can endure the pain and torture we fall subject to in this world. Only one who can take pain and agony and replace it with love and peace. 1 who is there in the begining and there after it all ends. ONE. Jesus who is the Christ, which mean the annointed one, the son of God. He is here waiting for you and I to come to him and allow him to save us from the pits of hell. I don't have the time to be cute with ya'll or tell you everything is o.k. No. We are in a state of Emergency and it's time to keep it real and true. Christ stands at the door of our hearts, waiting for us to let him in. The devil chases us around manipulating us and pulling strings. Let us break the bondage, both mental and spiritual. It's time to come to Christ and allow him to make his strength and love known in our lives. No moment in time is promised to us. Take this moment to come to him and make him your personal savior. "Jesus, I recognize your saving grace and except you as my Lord and Savior." "I come to you asking for your forgivness." "I commit myself unto you Lord and to reading and obeying your word the Holy Bible.""I thank you Lord and pray you will make yourself known in my life.""I now rebuke satan and all that is not of you and ask you to come into my heart, mind, body and soul.""My life is yours.""In Jesus name I pray...Amen."
Our God, you bless everyone whose sins you forgive and wipe away. You bless them by saying, "You told me your sins, without trying to hide them, and now I forgive you."
