Let's see... what can I tell you about myself? I attended my first Wichita Thunder hockey game on December 18, 1992 with my family. We had received the tickets as a Christmas present from some friends of ours. Ever since that time, we have gone to nearly every hockey game.
I would have to say my favorite season was the 1994-95 season when the Thunder defeated the San Antonio Iguanas to win the Central Hockey League championship for the second consecutive season.
My favorite hockey player of all time is Kris Schultz. I always admired the man for how well he played the game. I was impressed with how he would stand up for his teammates, particularly his linemates, Travis Clayton and Jason Duda. However, Kris Schultz's time here in Wichita was cut short when former Thunder coach, Bryan Wells, traded him to the Columbus Cottonmouths for defenseman Kamil Kuriplach.
Currently, I am a sophomore at Wichita State University where I am double majoring in Sport Administration and Accounting. I am a member of the Sport Administration Student Association at WSU and I hope to get very involved with the organization during the upcoming year.
After college, I plan on pursuing a career with a professional sports team, preferably hockey or NASCAR auto racing.
