Horseradish armoracia lapathifolia CAUTION DO NOT TAKE LARGE QUANITIES of horseradish at one time. Stop taking if diarrhea or night sweating occurs. Diuretic properties of fresh horseradish make it useful for; gout, rheumatic and bladder infections. Take 3-4 tablesoons of grated horderadish with wine vinegar and some grape sugar (dextrose). For colitis and intestinal problems due to putrefaction 15-20 drops of juice taken 3 times daily between meals will help. For catarrhal lung problems coughs and asthma take horseradish combined with with honey and raw sugar. AROMATHERAPY A note for the allergies. Try grating fresh horseradish root and inhaling the vapors (not to deeply it's very strong) but it will clear the sinuses at least temporarily while you are waiting for something else to kick in. A steaming might help hot water in a bowl under a towel, add some peppermint oil and breath in with the head under the towel. It might loosen up your breathing a little anyway and it will smell better than the horseradish. Source(s) Banner and Template by Darigon Back - Home - Next |
