Reference and Tutorials
Z80 Assembly References
Here are some general Z80 references.
- Thomas Scherrer Z80-Family Official Support Page Very thorough support for the Z80 family.
- The Guide - A site run by ticalc.org that gives a very good tutorial on assembly for the Z80 and a lot of the TI ROM routines. It's geared mostly towards the TI-86, although some of it is universal.
Model-Specific References
Here are some references that are written for a specific TI calculator.
- All TI calculators
- ticalc.org - The biggest website dedicated to TI calculators in all aspects. They have programming tutorials for ti-basic and assembly for all models, as well as files you can download (yes, they have games too).
- TI-86
- The Guide - A site run by ticalc.org that gives a very good tutorial on assembly for the Z80 and a lot of the TI ROM routines. It's geared mostly towards the TI-86, although some of it is universal.
- Joshua's TI-86 Site - A guy wrote several pages about TI-86 assembly programming. He hopes to have a lot of good stuff up, but there's only a little right now. "documentation for programming assembly language on the TI-86"
[Update] I'm not sure what I originally had planned, but I have a section of the site that was designed, but never linked to. It's a brief overview of the TI-8x line of calculators, with pictures and a brief description. Click here.
Also, I made up a listing of Z80 Instruction Quick Reference and Z80 Execution Timings. These are of use to developers.
Please feel free to send me any questions/comments/links/etc you may have. I'll try to respond to everyone's email A.S.A.P., but occasionally I get really busy.
