Carl Hanson was born into a middle classed surburban family. His parents, Randall and Felecia Hansen, were corporate lawyers and he had the basic surburban life until he was 9 and disaster struck. There was a terrorist attack, and the office building houseing his parents firm was bombed. They were both killed and Carl had to start a new life on the streets.
It was hard at first, but over the next 9 years he developed many skills that kept him alive and healthy. Around the age of ten he started dabbling in computers and electronics in order to earn a little cash for food and clothing. It wasn't long after that he got into the hacking world and became known as Axin.
By age 14 he had created many viruses that he sold to the highest bidder, not caring what was done with it as long as he stayed fed. By 16 he had learned quite a bit of theiving skills and was excellent at mechanics. It was then he met a man he knew only as Pete.
Pete took him in and housed him, taught him all about high tech weaponry and how to use them as well as the less high tech weapons. He became an excellent marksmen with most weapons on and off the market. He was happy where he was and it stayed that way for a few years.
It was around his 18th birthday when he found out what really happened that caused his parents death. Certain members of the US Government were financing the sale of black market weaponry to various terrorist factions in an effort to "eliminate communism" from the world. Someone in his parents firm had caught wind, and needless to say they were eliminated along with his parents.
So enbittered by this, he created a virus called Doomsday Prime and hacked into the White House computers. Within minutes, Washington D.C. was crashed to the darkages. Unfortunately, Pete caught him and cut the connection before he could erase his tracks. The FBI headquarters in New York traced him from a single hard drive that survived the crash. But Pete wouldn't let them take Axin without a fight. Pete was killed in a shoot out, and Axin was sentenced to 15 years in prison for hacking.
He only spent 5 of those years, however, he was released for good behavior and quickly returned to his former life. Creating viruses, selling them, selling and trading weapons on the black market, doing basically anything for a fast buck. He never speaks much of Pete, and if asked what happened to him he will always say "He died" and that's it. If he says more, then he conciders you a extremely close friend, most likely he would only tell a woman and it would be the one he loves.
After a little digging, he found out that the terrorist organization that bombed the firm was financed by a cover organization called Omega and spent a good month staking the place out. Unfortunately, while carrying out his plans he fell in with a trio that were after more than just screwing Omega. A man known as Grey, another known as Kline and a young woman named Tevra a fellow hacker. He has no idea where this falling in will lead, but at the moment he's not too worried. He's just doing his thing and if they mess him up again alliances made could fall, dependent on the reason behind it.
