After the take down of Omega, Axin was taken back to the company that sent Tevra in to do the take down, a company called Masonry Twill. When he arrived he figured he was going to get shot or worse for mission interfearance but much to his shock he was instead hired and put to work. He was given quarters to live in and a generous salary. A chance meeting had led to something he could live with and he was content with that.
He soon settled into life at Masonry Twill, taking on a cat and a rat for companions and doing his thing hacking what he was told to and many things he wasn't told to just being a menace to society in general. Per personality he was crass, rude, slovenly, foul mouthed, sour tempered and anti social, but he was good at what he did so those around him either stayed away or learned to deal.
This, however, came to an abrupt end when the boss, Andromeda Kai, came to his quarters to get information he had drug up. She took one look at the beer can pyramid, pizza box fortress and all around pig sty and ordered him to room with the other resident hacker, Tevra, while his room was dumped and fumigated. He was not pleased to say the least but he did as he was told.
The rooming did not go well as slovenly Axin was suddenly thrust into the world of a clean freak. They were polar opposites and argued constantly, insulted each other as freely as most would say hello but tension was building inside him as he knew this woman drove him wild and that he was hopelessly in love with her. He got his chance to show her soon after the move in when they were in their usual fight, he threw a beer at her and it broke a statue that Tevra's sister had made her, a statue that was highly treasured by Tevra as her family was now dead. Feeling bad about it as Tevra ran out of the room he began reconstructing the statue using strawberry Bazooka Joe bubble gum to stick the peices together. When he finished he found her asleep in the gardens, so he left the statue and his coat to keep her warm and left her. She returned to her quarters soon after and after a short talk a very heated and passionate love affair began.
To Axin's surprise, Tevra wasn't even 18 yet and had to deal with that when her guardians, Onyx Jade and Andromeda Kai, caught them in the act that very night. Axin came out with his jewels intact and only a minor injury to his leg from an accidental shooting from Onyx's gun. He had gotten their version of blessings and was happy even if he didn't show it.
Their passion grew as their love deepened, even through all the fighting that occured during her pregnancy with their son Christopher. He's found it difficult to open up all the way after how his parents and Pete were taken so abrupty but he endevors to try to not only open up but to clean himself up to make himself into a presentable partner for Tevra.
He never did move back to his old quarters but has arranged with Tevra for one room of their now joint quarters for his slovenly habits like his beer can pyramid and his pizza box fortress just so long as he makes sure that the cans are rinsed and the boxes are cleaned so that there are no bugs, something he more than willingly does.
