You walk through the door marked Ruatha and quickly find yourself in a fairly large weyr big enough for a large bronze dragon.  You look at the living area and see that it's a bit of a mess, yet cleaner than some weyrs you'd visited.  Placed near the entrance to the dragon's weyr, you see a bed for one.  It is neatly made and doesn't quiet look like it belongs in the mess around you.  Light bed furs are layed at the foot of the bed for cold nights while the sheets are a blue color as are the pillows that go with it.

In the center of the room is a marble table that could probably seat at least four people.  A glow basket is set in the center with a few writing hides under it.

Not far from the bed you see a door way covered by a set of dark green curtians.  You can only guess that it leads to the bathing pool.  You start to realize that the curtian is moving, in fact every so often something is thrown out through the curtians.
"Shards!" A voice suddenly yells angerly yet in a bit of distress.  You find the reason for the persons destress as you see a glass jar filled with dragon oil fly through the air.  Just before it could hit, three fire lizards pop out of between and catch the jar setting it down gentaly.  They chirp proudly at their acheavment.  The fire lizards are each a different color, one is a gold, another is a light bronze and and the last is a dark blue.  All three look to be adults and very well trained that they weren't even told vocialy to catch the jar.
You hear the scuffing of boots on stone and the curten opens.  A boy of about 17 turns steps into the main living area.  He's grown sence you last saw him at his short at 5ft 8in when he was on the hatching grounds, he's now about 6ft 9in and mostlikely finally at his full hight.  He has short, yet wild bright red hair His skin is noticably tanned and where it's not tanned it is burned.  He smells a bit like numbweed at this time, mostlikely from putting the stuff on his burns.  His blue-gray eyes were smiling with releaf when he had come into the room yet you could see something that made you think of a Bitran.  He wore a light weight red vest open showing his well formed chest, and a pair of light weight blue pants that were tucked into his black wherhide boots.

"You caught it!..." the boy smiled then his eyes narrowed as he saw you, "What's the meaning of barging into our weyr unanouced?" he asked in an outraged voice, the question coming out more like a growl.

"I was present durring your impression," you tell him sheepishly, "and I was just a bit curious as to how all the former canidates from Talor Cliff Weyr's 8th clutch were doing.."

The boy shakes his head and seems to calm slightly, "I guess anybody might want to do that."  As he says this he looks to his fair and they pick up the jar again and quickly fly it over to him setting it in his hands.  The dark blue fire lizard quickly lands on his right should which you now notice is padded.  The bronze lands on his other shoulder while the gold lands on the rim of the jar.

"I'm X'tro bronze Rezoth's rider, and you are?" he says with a smile as he grips your arm in greeting.  You give your name and he brightens a bit, "It's nice to meet you  You wouldn't happen to have time to visit with me would ya'?"

You can see that he seems to be a bit busy yet longing for a reason to be pulled away from his work just to relax and you nod. X'tro seems to smile back..

"Thanks, I just impressed Rezoth a few turns back and haven't had much time for anything except caring for him, learning from the weyrling master and talking to my half sister and her half sister," he says in a rush as he motions for you to follow him through the arch and into the dragon's weyr.  As you take in the room you see that X'tro's weyr is faced towards the Weyr Bowl, reseaving sun only in the late afternoon causing the weyr to be cool durring the day and fairly warm at night.  About twenty feet from the ledge you see a large dragon couch on which the largest bronze dragon you've ever seen lays watching you and his rider with whirling an excited and perky blue-green eyes.  Like the boy's bed, the dragon and his bed looks cleaner than the rest of the weyr.  The dragon's eyes start to whirl ever faster as he inspects you.  His large multi-fasited eyes seemingly smile at you as he warbles his aproveal.

X'tro moves towards the couch and hops up on it with ease though it desterbs his fire lizards a bit and the scatter from him only to land on the couch and the dragon.  He helps you up and when you get situated you see that dragon's masive head has moved to hover just over the boy's right shoulder.

"You been sleepin', Rez," he asks his dragon and for once you don't hear what the dragon says to his rider unlike in other weyrs. "Really, ya' fooled me?" X'tro looks at you as he relizes that Rezoth making his words unadable to you. "He said that he'd faked sleep, he's too excited about us fighting fall now."

He shakes his head and chuckles, "So would you like to hear about
my life, the fire lizards, or about Rezoth?"

X'tro Bronze Rezoth's Rider
Fire lizards
Rezoth

After listening to the boy for a while he smiles at you, "Thanks for listenin' to me, I hope I didn't bore you."

"Don't worry, I'm glad I took the time to visit you," you reply with a chuckle and X'tro laughs.

"You know I"m glade you did too.  You should visit my half sister and her half sister too, they're in the rooms across the hall you mentioned, the doors that say
Prisim and Ista.  They impressed their own dragons just over a turn after I impressed Rezoth, Chir was lucky and impressed the Queen, Mekoth, of the clutch but then there's nothing wrong with Tiff having impress her green, Vasharath.  Come back again, please, we'd love the company," he says this with a large grin.  Just as you start to get up X'tro's eye cloud over and he nods.

"I must go as well, Rezoth says he's hungery He hasn't eaten in just over a sevenday... and he says he wants to practice his stilks of catching herdbeast so he might catch Rhysharth."  Here X'tro blushes slightly.

You nodded, hop off the couch and
leave waving at X'tro and Rezoth as you go and they head for the ledge, X'tro tightening the straps before using his bronze's forarm as a step and leaps into the saddle.  You hear a woosh and when you look over your should the two are already half way across the bowl.
"Good day to you, traveler!!  Come again!!!" you hear an exuberant voice in you head that vagely reminds you of X'tro's own voice.  You practicly fall out the door as you realize it was Rezoth.
