The boy nods solmly with a slight grin as you ask about his life.  Before he starts though he rubs his blue fire lizard's eye ridge and he chirps happly.

"Where to start, I guess the begining would be good, wouldn't it?" he chuckles, you blink slightly surprised that the boy's temper was totaly gone now.  X'tro doesn't even seem to notice your look but starts his story.

"I was born in Ruatha to a fairly good mother and father.  I have one sister though she's only my half sister, her name's Tiff Prisim but she usualy only goes by her first name. She has a half sister who is from Ista named Quachir, or as we call her, Chir(pronouced like Cheery).  Though my family was not high in rank we knew the lord of Ruatha very well though neither my mother nor my father ever mentioned to me how we knew them.  I was brought up as an aprentice to the master herder in Ruatha so our family had plenty of runner beasts.  My father was a minner as was my mother though not many people agreed with her working in the mines."

"Though I was not Chir's brother I considered her my other sister.  Every summer and winter Tiff and I would go visit her and Tiff's father in Ista or Chir would come to visit us in Ruatha.  A few turns back, while we were visiting Chir, Tiff and I reseaved destressing news," he said this in a shakey voice and a tear slipped siliently down the side of his face, "a rock side had killed our parents.  Chir's father was quick to say that he would take care of us... and to tell ya' the truth, I think Mom and Pop would have wanted it that way.  They weren't that crazy about how their parents had brought them up.  They never said it but I could kind of sense it when ever we'd speak of them or go visit our grandparents."

He sniffed before going on to happier times, "When we moved to Ista the Master Herder there took me under his wing, he said if I keep it up, I might become a Journeyman by the time I was 16 or 17 turns old.  At the time I didn't quite beleave him but I was very happy that he had so much confidence in me."

"We lived happly in Ista up until a few months before I was to impressed Rezoth,..." he trailed off and chuckles sheepishly, "Seems only as if it was yesterday and not a few turns back.  But anyways, over a turn back, shortly after Tiff impressed her fire lizards, she earned her Journeywoman's knots as a Harper.  Both Chir and I were very proud of her but I think Tiff's father was the proudest of all!  She was soon told that she was to be posted here, at
Talor Cliff Weyr."

"Well that really surprised all of us, we'd though she'd be going to some Hold.  Tiff later told me that the Master Harper in Ista said he had recomended her for the Weyr. Neather of us were very sure why he did that but she was more than happy to go.  Chir was the first one to ask if we could come with her.  It hadn't even crossed my mind at the time but as soon as she mentioned it I was all for it!  Their father said he had to think about it for a while... of course then Chir and myself went to pack our belongings just in case.  Two dragons came to collect Tiff and her things a few days later, they were a green and a brown.  The brown had a female rider and the green a male.  The fact that the brown's rider was female fasinated me to no end."

"Chir's father at one point was called over by the green rider," at this point X'tro's eyes start to show a bright blue as he remembered the day, "The two men conversed for a few minutes and Tiff watched them closely.  The green dragon looked back at us with wirling eyes that changed from blue to green in quick resesion. 'Go get your things,' Tiff suddenly mummbled as her eyes unfocused and then refocus.  Both Chir and I looked up at her but her face told us nothing. 'Just go!' she repeated to us."

"Chir and I looked at each other and grinned before shooting off for our stuff.  We returned just as Tiff's father was looking for us.  'Chir, Xantro, get your.....' he had started to say before he noticed that we had our bags already.  He looked from us, to Tiff who was talking with the green rider now and back to us and then shook his head before giving us each a hug and telling us to go."

"So that's how we got here," he smiled as he indocated the whole Weyr, "I'm still not quite sure what got him to let us come with Tiff but I'm guessing the green rider had something to do with it...  Acttualy I do now but I'll tell you about that in a minute.  The oddest thing though was that a few days after I got here the Master Herder of the Weyr told me that I was a Journeyman and was to be stationed here as well, I never really found out why I was stationed here either because the Master Herder said it wasn't his idea though he liked it."

"Now as for me dirrectly," he said with a sly look on his face, "I'm of Ruathan blood as you can probably tell by my hair and skin, but I do have a bit of Bitran blood in me as well, Tiff says it must be more than in her because I do a bit more of the betting and such, but I'm pretty good at it, 8 out of 9 times I'm right.  I don't bet as much anymore though, there's not much to bet at here.  I'll just have to wait till a mating flight or something to do with the runners or herdbeasts," he shurges at this, and you look at him a bit uneasy.  X'tro smirks, "Don't worry, I think I've lost my worst habit of black mailing people, haven't done that in a few turns.  But that's because Tiff black mailed me to teach me a leason."

This doesn't seem to confert you much and he chuckles slightly, "Don't worry, she's not like me, that was the only time she black mailed somebody and she rarely does betting herself,"  seeing that you still look uncofertable he changes the subject a bit,
"As for my other hobbies, I like riding and pretty much all types of animals.  I'm also a fair drawer though my drawings are limited to animals and a few human subjects."

"As you could tell when you came in, I have a very bad temper at times but I'm very out going," X'tro chuckled, "I also have very good listening skills though like my sister I sometimes have a bad memory."

"I got a
surprise about a week or two before Rezoth hatched, would you like to hear about that?"

"Well, that's all I can think of to tell you.  Now would you like to hear about my
fire lizards, Rezoth, or do you have to go?"
