PATRICK PETERSON (MICHAEL FAIRGATE) |
Parick Petersen was born on August 9 in Los Angeles. Raised in a family of six, he learned early on the meaning of love and support, and the positive benefits of a strong source of values. His first taste of show business came at the ripe age of 9, in a commercial spot for the Polaroid Film Company. Nearly three years later, Petersen had worked on some 25 television commercials, several motion pictures, as well as being the voice of "Tony the Tiger, Jr.' At the age of 12, he landed the role of Michael Fairgate on "Knots Landing," and has been a series regular since the series began. His recent work includes the afterschool special "Little Miss Perfect," and the made-for-television movies "Class Cruise" and "Lots and Lots of Training." Petersen constantly strives to achieve a higher level of truth and understanding in his work, and believes that although there is a tremendous amount of satisfaction and joy in achievement and success, the true thrill is in the creative effort. Whether performing with his fellow castmates, or just studying privately, his efforts are clearly paying off. In his spare time, he enjoys playing music, keeping in shape and golfing. He's involved with various charities, and is the owner of P.J.'s Flowers, a third generation retail flower shop in hometown, Los Angeles. |
