Oh my God it is happening and I am committed now to give a realllllly Big SHOW Poetry reading -- "Voces expuestas: huellas en el camino de la frontera" -- "Exposed Voices, footprints on the road of the frontier" poetic spectacular by Daniel Charles Thomas.

Sayss the official program of the festival of the literature of the northwest.... oh my God oh my God have mercy I will be reading poetry in Spanish and English I will be reading out loud in my poor little actor's voice... on Saturday 15 NOvember. You are all invited of course.... The festival runs from the 12th through the 15th at CECUT in Tijuana River Zone... the official program for the entire festival is at http://www.cecut.gob.mx/calendario/festliteratura.htm oh yes I hope this link works You will please forgive me for not saying much but until recently I wasn't sure this would come off but now... it looks official. Yes. And I am deep into rehearsing, reading and memorizing. For this is not just a reading. This is a performance. I am so overcome with the emotion of this What a work.... I am not going to be reading much of my poetry, no, more poems by other poets, including William Carlos Williams and some Baja California poets I know some of you like my poetry but let me tell you there are better poets here than I am and, well, I certainly include Williams among those who are better than I.... And, besides being a ham, I want to thank my Lord God for giving me this splendid opportunity |

Dice el programa oficial del festival de la literature de noroeste... al CECUT omaigad omaigad Dios ten piedad voy a leer poesia en español y inglés voy a leer en voz alta en la pobre voz del actor chico que soy.... Les invito a todos ustedes por supuesto... voy a leer el 15 de novembre. Sí. Y estoy trabajando muchisimo ensayando leyendo en la casa en voz alta y memorizando. Este no es solamente una lectura. Es actuación "performance". Y siento tanto emoció que Ay que trabajo.... No voy a leer mucho de mi poesia, no, más de unos poemas de otros poetas, hasta William Carlos Williams y unos poetas bajacalifornianas Yo se que unos de usteds disfrutan mi poesia pero te lo juro que hay poetas mucho más mejor que yo aquí y pues cierto pongo Williams entre ellos que son mejor que yo.... Y aparte de ser un actor (un "jamón") quiero decir gracias, mi Señor Dios por darme esta oportunidad |
