it's been months now since Brett wrote

el otro asunto es este de mezclar los idiomas

entonces andamos cruzando líneas entre prosa y verso
y español e inglés
so we go crossing borderlines between prose and verse
and spanish and english
qué lástima que ninguno de nosotros podamos escribir realmente bien el español
what a pity that none of us can write really good Spanish
maybe when Tere gets here Daniel will put her to work... she is pretty and sharp too... and her english is better than any of our spanish and her spanish is... well, of professional quality, like Luisa's (who unfortunately already has tooooo much work to play wordgames with us everyday no matter that French contemporary literary critique says that games and crime novels are all there are nowadayssssssssssss.
