it is Tuesday. I discovered to my great delight as I walked to the water store to fill our garrafon (I like saying "our" and it is real, not a literary conceit, not a fiction of other writers, no, it is my partner, my love, my mamacita)
to my great delight I discovered as I walked to fill the 5-gallon water bottle at the water purifying store (45 cents, 5 pesos)
I discovered that on Tuesdays there is also a street market in the neighborhood. Not as big as on Sunday, and not as many people crowded into the street, but fun to walk and look and also good not to have to have to have so many so many so many many people crowding like on Sunday.
I found a flannel cotton shirt in excellent condition, my size. The man asked for fifteen pesos. Like a dollar forty, dollar thirty-seven.
Yeah.
Too bad the war is still getting hot and sticky. Sucks. War always sucks.
Now they are... see picture on the right below and link to story.
