He won a decisive pounding of veteran boxer Ron Hextall on Nov 10. When it was all over Ron Hextall was left with blood trickling down his face, while Potvin was left unscaved.

The Aftermath...

(I have Science... hahaha) The NHL, after review of the incidents decided that both teams would be fined 5000 dollars each for playing their enforcers for the final seconds of the game. Leafs forward Tie Domi and Flyers Forward Scott Daniels were fined 1000 dollars each, for "starting" (Which I don't agree with) the whole mess...

Since this is MY webpage I gota say that The NHL's are bunch of idiots. First of all, it seems like they have two sets of rules one that applies to the league and one for Tie Domi. This isn't the first time something like this happened, except last time instead of a fine, he was suspended EIGHT GAMES! That's one-tenth of the season! Another thing, the NHL rules say that (along the lines of) anyone who doesn't attach their sweater to their pants and removes his jersey during the fight gets fined like 1000 bucks, or get suspended, hmmm, didn't a certain Hextall have his shirt off??? Last but not least: Hextall skates ALL the way down the Ice FROM his crease, Instigated a fight, TOOK off his jersey AND STILL no Suspension/fine?!?!?!!??! Hextall got absolutely Nothing except 29 minutes in penalties, OH no at the end of the game, BIG disadvantage, while Domi got fined 1000 bucks for supposedly starting the fights. If you ask me the Referees started everything, by giving a penalty right after the leafs scored, and NOT calling TWO penalties at the end -THAT'S why the leafs were so mad at the end! The NHL should get their act together and start going by the book THEY wrote!

Its sad that the NHL's incompetence has ruined what should have AN AMAZING GAME... (so the leaf lost, who cares?)
