It's no secret that in Dark Mists I am one of the 'divine presences'. By most I am called Lady Xyza, The One True Spell (goddess of magic). I'll not mention what some others call me, although 'rebel goddess' has its appeal. I'm one of the main area builders. But enough about me, there's more interesting things to find in our world.

What is in Dark Mists?

In the Beginning...: A history of the beginnings of our world.
Immortals: These are the people who try to keep the high standards of the game and the players.
Religions: We have gods (and one goddess) and they have special marks and religions.
The Rules: It isn't worth the risk to break these.
Classes: Warriors, Thieves, and others who inhabit our world.
Races: Humans, Elves, Dwarves, Giants, and some other races...
Houses: For those who want more out of life than merely what their guildmasters teach, and who require some comeraderie they can depend upon.
Guildmasters: The great teachers, the great masters of their craft.
Knightly Orders: Without the obvious benefits of being a House, these groups of brave men and women fight for their beliefs, protecting what they hold most dear.
Maps: No need to get lost in this world. Well, mostly no need...
Mortal Marriages: Some folk have found a little happiness and love in a land often filled with darkness, danger, and hatred.
Masters: These are the people who have taken the time to perfect their knowledge of skills and spells taught them by their guildmasters (and in some cases granted by their Houses).
Black Belts: The Monks work very hard on mastery of their bodies and themselves. The highest belt rank they can earn through this hard work is the Black Belt. These are the true grandmasters of the martial arts.
Descriptions: Here's lookin' at you, kid...
Contests: There are times when mortals have to prove which one is the best, and it isn't always at killing.
Time: If you were ever curious about the days of the week and the months of the year, here they are, in order.
Greeting Screen: Artwork by Ceran, with information pertaining to our world.
Technical History: A layman's view of the technical history of Dark Mists, without going into details about the code.

The rotating blue-green Lemniscate (Lady Xyza's symbol and brand) was created by Shadow Dragon and is found also on the
