You follow Jean-Claude.

No doubt Jean-Claude is on his way to meet his Shanghai contacts. You tail him cautiously as he sets out on foot through the city. Finally, in a dingy alleyway, he stops abrubtly, looks at his watch, and peers around. You quickly duck behind some trashcans. You're sure he didn't see you.

Then you see a Chinaman with long, mandarin-style moustaches come around the corner and into the alley. This, apparently, is who Jean-Claude was meeting. You don't have the best vantage point to see everything, but you do notice that the Chinaman is carrying a briefcase exactly like the one Jean-Claude carries.

The two men don't exchange a word. They simply put down their briefcases, bow to each other, then pick up their briefcases and leave the alley together. You follow them to the mouth of the alleyway, hoping they will lead you to the international terrorist group's headquarters. But once out on the street, the Chinaman walks away in one direction and Jean-Claude in another.

Uh oh! If only your supervisor had sent more than one agent . . . but you'll have to decide. Will you continue to follow Jean-Claude, or will you follow the Chinaman?
