Here is the introduction  INTRO TO THE REALMS  that started it all







Major People & Other Things


 Darrin Miyar

   This emerald eyed, blond haired youth runs a successful caravan 
for his uncle, Zorl Miyar.  Often seen on the road between Baldur's 
Gate and Waterdeep, he is well known in Daggerford.  He learned his 
trade from his father Anders, who led numerous caravans while his 
brother Zorel ran the Merchant's League at home.

 Zeptha Miyar

   Darrin's beautiful cousin, she is Zorel Miyar's daughter.  Her 
long blond hair and pleasant manners often bewitch those she meets.  
What is one so beautiful doing on her way to Waterdeep?  She is glad 
to tell whoever asks.  Though not many did.

 Kyle, son of Tabek

   Kyle is the bartender at the Silver Ladle, the inn of Daggerford.
He is very helpful with information and is always pouring a mug of 
Tabek's Red for his patrons.  He is rarely out from behind the counter 
and is one of the friendliest people in Daggerford.

 Tabek

   Tabek, Lord of Waterdeep, owner of the Silver Ladle, and 
inventor of Tabek's Red Ale.  First of many micro-brewers in the 
known Realms.  This oldtimer can be found up at the keep.  Short and 
boasting a heavy beard, a twinkle can always be seen lighting Tabek's 
brown-flecked eyes.  Where did he learn to brew ale?  From the best 
brewers in the Realms, the Dwarves.

 Tabek's Red

   Tabek's Red is a full-bodied, heavy, red ale.  It is highly 
desired by folks in the Daggerford area, and a few of the taverns in 
Waterdeep and Baldur's Gate pay a handsome price to have some on tap.  
Here, in it's home town it is relatively cheap, but if wanted 
elsewhere, be prepared to pay a gold piece or more.  But it's your
choice, the pinnacle of ales or any other common brew.

 Tag

   Elves are quite common, but Drow, that's another story.  Like 
all his people, Tag has obsidian black skin and hair, with eyes 
gleaming diamond bright.  His voice is sharp and gutteral, and he 
carries a disdain for any and all, except for Darrin.  They are the 
closest of friends, but how this has happened, no one knows.

 Ross Marquet

   Zeptha's beloved.  Ross is the leader of an up and coming
adventuring group that works out of Waterdeep.  Ross might also be
one of the Lord's of Waterdeep and would be an important connection
for Zeptha's father, but it was Zeptha who first got it into her
head to wed the lucky man.






Noteworthy Events


 One person actually met the famous Tabek. Guess Who?
 Another person in the first turn actually figured out
   why Zeptha is going to Waterdeep.(Teal)
 Shiro Minamoto sang a lively tune on his first night(Green)
 Thad Forinth is also on his way to becoming a renowned bard(Red)
 Fynvola Quain also sang us a haunting tune(Green)
 Andrew told an interesting story around the campfire(Teal)
 Where to begin with Blue Squadron.  I laugh almost every turn.
   Who put a gnome and a dwarf and a drow in the same group?(Blue)
 One group just had their first fight.  Check it out!(Gold)
 Pole Voltoth just called the Gods down on his group(Gold)
 The guys in Red Squadron just  Lost Zeptha!(Red)
 And almost as bad is Darrin's Kidnapped?(Blue)

Squadron's pages.  Also, when and if their group finds out I 
will give due regards to the two other character's listed above.

I guess here is where I put the disclaimer.  But, not being a lawyer, I probably wouldn't word it right.  So I'll just mention that Forgotten Realms belongs to TSR.
