There Can Be Only One!

Just Some Discussion on Ideas.

I do have some other ideas and thoughts that I havent playtested or really worked out yet, but here they are for your enjoyment.

Duncan is probably one of the weaker personas to play in relation to how powerful he's supposed to be on TV. A couple of ideas that I had to make him better and use his abilities and cards are; a battle rage/power blow deck, and a spinning attack deck. For the Battle rage deck, you use his Flashback with Scotland the Brave. You need to get those two situations out at the same time, and then play a battle rage. One of the dissadvantages of this deck is that it takes a while to set up. Also the restrictions on promos and such makes it difficult to set it off.

Another Duncan deck is where you use his Master's Dodge, Jumps (and soon Ducks), plus normal dodges with extra shots to use a spinning attack. Use the spinning attack to the same spot so they'll run out of defenses. The big weakness of this deck is that if they don't attack, you can't use the dodges. That will shut you down pretty quickly.

Everyone probably has an idea for a Kurgan Bloodlust deck. I had a really good one a while back. I'll post it as soon as I get it put back together again.

I also figure you could do a Kurgan deck (or just about any other attack deck) with a Master's Race, a Prize (Attacks), and his Follow-Ups to really beat them into submission. Hopefully four atacks each round. This deck is really hard to set up, and you have to get it out quick.

For an ultimate lock down deck, play some pedestrians, with Illusionary terrains, and an Honor Bound. Then get yourself a few Jack Donovans, and just sit back and watch them exert through their decks until they are totally exhausted. Evil and totally cheesy. I hope to find a way to really defeat this type of deck regularly.

Another deck that I'm working on uses Connor in Mountain Caves with the Feint Edge card and Head Shots. I leave the rest to your imagination.

Well, that's about it for now. I hope to add to this page on a regular basis.
